“Great hotel!”
This is a great hotel, very modern and very comfortable. I would've liked to have given it 5/5 for every aspect but just a few of minor points. Our room was clean and tidy each day but I noticed the wooden floors need more attention as my socks/feet picked up a lot of dust. The tea and coffee was not replenished every day, had to ask reception to sort. Finally, the beds were far too soft/bouncy, not good if you sleep on your front :) The above details are minor though and maybe one-offs, I'd definitely stay here again.
“Nice hotel, great staff, horrible location”
Very nice hotel with friendly staff and reasonably priced. Location is bad - it's far away from many sights, restaurants, and bars. Being on the other side of a train track did not help, but this hotel was next to a bridge that crossed the train tracks.
“Great Hotel, Good location”
Great hotel, great value. Pleaseant Harbour location, right next to a fair sized mall; very convenient. Fronts onto the O2 (4 lanefreeway), but with windows closed, couldn't hear it. This was my first time to Copenhagen, so I have nothing to comapre against, but it met all of my stardards for a good business hotel. Internet WiFi is included which is a great value in DK. If one is looking for "extra" value, the only thing lacking is having breakfast included. Meals are expensive in DK (by North American standards), and the breakfast "buffet" is not included.
“Excellent hotel”
It is a nice, well located hotel with excellent breakfast.
“Convenient Location and Lovely Hotel”
The hotel iks about 15 / 20 minute walk from city or 5 minutes to nearest bus stop. The transport in Copenhagen is convenient once you get the hang of it and I believe there is even a boat bus that takes you from the hotel towards the city. Not sure of what this cost as didn't get chance to try this out - maybe next time! The room was a decent size, comfortable, clean and bright. Even though our room overlooked the large main road that the hotel sits just back from, there was no traffic noise through the double glazed windows and the view was still good. Air conditioning was very good - nice and quiet, and the windows in the room opened fully. The hotel was just down from a shopping centre and cinema which we didn't visit until our last day, but had some decently priced restaurants/cafes in here over looking the water and was very much like any English shopping centre. The reception staff were friendly and informative and the lobby was nice area to relax in when waiting to head out. I didn't get chance to sample the food in the hotel as we ate out in the city so can't comment on this part, but overall was very impressed.
“Exceptional Value in Copenhagen”
This hotel was exceptional in every way, price, service, breakfast. For anyone who says it is "out of the way" - then you are not used to walking an easy 15 minutes. To get to the central city you can either walk along the waterfront (beautiful) or right tot he Tivoli and Train Station. From the minute we entered the hotel nothing went wrong - nothing. The rooms are gorgeous with great beds and fixtures. The bathroom is fantastic - although the window into the room is odd. We had great views of the harbor from the floor to ceiling windows. If you happen to be a vegetarian there is a fantastic vegetarian restaurant less than 10 minutes away by foot. It would be hard to fault anything here.
“High Standard, Great Value hotel in Copenhagen”
The Copenhagen Island, is a wonderful hotel, with reasonable prices, even considering the exceptional level of service and comfort. Located within walking distance of the Tivoli Conference Center, even an adventure into the city center only requires a 15-20 minutes by foot.
“Great Hotel, Great Location”
The hotel is in the waterfront business district, which is only a 10 minute walk from the central station. The hotel staff were helpful, the restaurant was excellent (and good value for money, given this is Denmark!) and the room was lovely. The room price was also very good value. My only gripe is that I put some shirts in for dry-cleaning, and they took 24 hours longer than anticipated to come back.
“Excellent hotel near everything”
I received a recommendation for this hotel from a dannish student and it was lovely. You experiment the Dannish Design style in your room. Comfort, cleanliness and style.
“Would stay there again”
Great restaurant, convenient to shopping and trains, bike rental reasonable, friendly, helpful staff
