“Holiday in Copenhagen”
Well maintained - had a wonderful stay - The staff were friendly and helpful
“Green hotel centrally located”
Lots of green features like recycling bins in rooms, hardwood floors, bamboo key cards, battery recycling, organic food at breakfast, bikes for rent; plus walk to all sites in downtown copenhagen while being in a slightly quieter area.
“Best”
Completly satisfied with parking, breakfast, location, and all staff. In special the room cause it is very dificult to find good hotels for families due small accomodations in average. My second stay one week later reconfirm as excellent option in town. I will return always as needed. Special thanks for good management and internet free for all guests. Enforced recomended.
“Nice place to stay”
The hotel is clean, good breakfast, close to subway, train station and many attracted places.
“Very satisfied. Most amazing breakfast!!!”
For a family of 4 we were surprised that the room did not feel cramped. Location is very convenient to train station (only 2 blocks if you get out the correct station and exit -- get direction from hotel first). Within walking distance to downtown. Most amazing thing for hotel is the incredible breakfast. We are not breakfast people generally but it was a breakfast worth getting up for! Way over 50 items are laid out in a bright attractive display.
“nice hotel - 2mins from the Main train station.”
Very presentable, standard business quality hotel, when you book the room the trip summary says that breakfast is not included and also is included which is somewhat confusing. my experience (1st sept 2009) is that breakfast WAS included in the booking price personally I think it a shame that Scandic has left the Hilton Honors scheme.
“A bit pricey, but extremely convenient in Copenhagen.”
Very nice rooms with excellent amenities. The included breakfast buffet was awesome, and convenient. This hotel is within walking distance to many of the places in Copenhagen I wanted to see (Train station, Tivoli, Thorvaldsen's Museum, many of the old churches). The only downside was that the web made it sound like parking was included, but it wasn't. There are about eight parking places in the front, if you're lucky enough to get one. Otherwise, expect to pay about thirty bucks a day.
“Comfortable and conveniently located hotel”
I arrived in the evening and a room was ready. It turned out to be a smoking room, however, but a visit to the front desk resulted in a quick change to a non-smoking room that had the additional perk of a panoramic view of Copenhagen's skyline. The room was kept immaculate; lights operated via the room's key card being placed in the appropriate slot. Room was a single, and the bed was comfortable and the linens fresh and clean. Aside from jetlag, I slept well. Blond wood floor was uncarpeted but free of dust. The bathroom had a shower/tub combo that, like in many European bathrooms, necessitated a long stretch up or down to get into or out of. I liked that the hotel was environmentally aware, with squeezable shampoo/soap from a dispenser by the sink and shower rather than individual bars of soap or bottles of shampoo. The folks at the front desk were fast and efficient, and the concierge was useful on a couple of occasions, such as for purchasing stamps. The breakfast, included with the rate, was the best I've had at a hotel: served in the restaurant with numerous stations serving a variety of meats, breads, cheeses, cereals, fruit (and not just junky canned stuff, but balls of melon, guava, mango, etc.) and juices/milk/coffees. It was easy to fill up and not really need to eat a large meal again until dinnertime.
“Excellent hotel mid downtown”
The hotel was excellent and the breakfast is wonderful. The only problem is there is no aircondition in any rooms. So if it is hot, it is bad, even with window open. The stay was very nice and the front desk people were excellent and saved us lots of money by suggesting taking the train to the airport instead of the bus. Short walk and $ 40 Euro less. We will stay again in that hotel.
“Good hotel in Copenhagen”
Within about 3 blocks of the train station, this hotel was the perfect stopover as we prepared to return home from a few days on the west coast of Denmark. Our room overlooked a small lake, the room was comfortable as long as we had the window open. The included breakfast was excellent and complete. I felt it was good value for the location, both for room and for restaurant.
