“Convenient Copenhagen”
Its good value for your money, very convenient, just in-front of the Central train station in Copenhagen. Cheap train ride from airport to hotel. A stone throw away from Tivoli garden. Good breakfast.
“Hotel Astoria, Convenient, Clean and Comfortable”
Hotel Astoria is in a very convenient location, about 100 steps from the back of the Copenhagen train station (opposite side of station from a Tivoli Garden gate). Room with king size bed was very comfortable. The included breakfast was great, as good or better than any on our trip. And, they provide free internet access. The hotel is close to many attractions in Copenhagen such as Tivoli Gardens, the City Square, the Stroget (pedestrian street) and of course the train station which allows easy access to the metro, trains, taxis and buses. There are a number of small shops in the station as well as ATMs. I would certainly choose Hotel Astoria on another trip to Copenhagen.
“Very close to centre and good value for money”
Very close to centre and good value for money. It is simple and ideal for travellers and people that don't spend too long in the hotel. Basic comforts
“Convenient, comfortable - will go again!”
This hotel is pretty basic BUT has: good clean and comfortable accommodation plenty of hot water and good heating very helpful staff extremely convenient location, adjacent to the station (easy & cheap transfer to airport) very good breakfast - fresh and tasty! So, you get a very, very good deal for the cost.
“Good but not fancy”
Railroad noise not bad at all.
“Central location, no frills, friendly atmosphere”
This is an hotel I used many times in the past, the staff is friendly, the place is comfortable, a very convenient location just outside the central station. This is a good bargain, don't expect a luxurious place but it's decent and clean. They provide wireless access and the usual amenities. The rooms in the backside have a certain tendency to be noisy for the adiacent street (for car traffic) and in the late hours for nightlife people, but this is just a minor issue. Recommended.
“1960s Architecture”
Don't be put off by the exterior since this hotel is radically different inside, having been renovated recently. I found my twin room to be small and I would not like to have to put two people in there, but since there was just me it was OK. It can be noisy too on the street outside where chavs drive up and down in cars worth considerably less than the hifis within, but you can hardly blame the hotel for that. The breakfast is standard continental fare with no cooked alternative (but I went in August and wouldn't have wanted one anyway, although it would be interesting to know if this is an option during spring, Autumn or Winter) and there are no evening meals available. I found the staff to be friendly and they spoke good English (better than my Danish at any rate). Since I travel to CPH on business I am becoming quite au fait with the local hostelries. Would this be my first choice hotel to return to? Probably not. If I came back would I be upset if I were to return here? No.
“Hotel fine, not impressed with Copenhagen.”
Hotel excellent location to central train station and city centre. Good breakfast and nice breakfast room. Hotel room small but more than adequate as a base. No concern with hygiene. Bedding was clean and although bed was small for a double we still slept well. Overall staff were helpful and polite.
“Fast Blast In Copenhagen”
Hotel looks like an East European housing block from the outside, but inside it is warm, comfortable and has everything you need. It is about as central as you can get, right next to the station, but bizzarely very quiet. Some of the rooms are a bit small. The staff are very helpful, breakfast is an ample buffet with meats, cheeses and loads of fresh fruit and half cooked eggs!!Go to The RundHaus, the Carlsberg Brewery,Christiana,The Cathedral, the Pumphaus(Music)the cinema is great (all in English) a good day out is Roskilde for the Viking Museum and the Awesome Cathedral. We packed so much in and loved it. A good laugh is Sams Karaoke Bar. Cowell would not be amused.
“Location, Location, Location”
The over-all appearance of the hotel does not fit with the expectation for a 3-star hotel. The room was small, and sparsely furnished. However, the hotel staff was extremely nice and helpful. the breakfast was great. It is located right outside the Central Train Terminal, and close the the Radhutset and Pedestrian Street and Tivoli, so the location really can't be beat.
