“Superb hotel will be going back soon”

We booked this hotel as an economy hotel just because we needed somewhere to leave our belongings during the day and somewhere to sleep at night. It more than met our requirements and I would have no hesitation in returning for another stay. The ensuite shower room was superb, clean, modern, excellent power shower just what we needed after a day in the heat and sun. The room was equiped with air con which did a fantastic job of lowering the temperature whilst we were in the room, just a little to noisy to be left on whilst we slept though. Only one small gripe, they ran out of jam for the breakfast toast on day 2, but there was plenty else on offer.

“Best Air Conditioning in Spain”

The receptionist was expecting us and was extremely cheerful and friendly. The room was very clean and in good decorative order. The most important thing about the room was the efficiency of the air conditioning, it was effective, easy to use and a very modern and expensive model. The shower was powerful and was cleaned to a very high standard. Good selection of English speaking channels. Hotel is really easy to find. At check out receptionist team very friendly and chatty. Ten out of ten!

I've rated this hotel very highly because the stafff are very helpful indeed and helped us out with directions, parking in Girona, extra pillows etc. The room was thoroughly cleaned every day and all the facilities worked fine. The wi-fi was a little hit and miss on the 4th floor. The hotel is located on a buisiness park next door to a very large modern shopping centre. It's about 2 mins drive to the autovia (motorway) so although there is nothing at all to see near the hotel it's well located for anyone with a car. Girona is about 5 mins drive away and a taxi costs around 12 Euros. There is a breakfast buffet in the hotel with free hot drinks. There are some ok restaurants in the shopping centre but the food in Girona is far better and around the same price.

Good reasonably priced hotel although cleaning left a little to be desired.Dusty floors.Good sized room.No smoking in Twin rooms on 1st floor.Good Continental buffet breakfast.Take soap,shampoo etc as none provided. Good,cheap restaurants in Shopping precinct up the road.Chinese buffet on the ground floor excellent.Lidl very close for water, wine,snacks etc.Bus stop about 50 metres away,outside shopping precinct, to town centre. Stops at railway/bus station .

“Sidorme, Gerona”

Very clean, very convenient place to stay for one night. Buffet breakfast was an excellent start to the next day's travelling. Three generations in the party and all were very satisfied.

“Very simplistic, might be good for young guys, backpacking in Spain”

Hotel rooms are very simplistic. Our mistake was to get attracted by low prices. It obviously a stay of choice for younger generation. As a result our last night in the hotel there was a "gang" of 20+ youngsters checking in. And they returned back 5:30 am waking up everyone, triggered fire alarm at 6 am, etc. Lots of "fun".

“Sidorme”

Basic hotel but good value for price. THe bed was hard but the room was clean. Unfortunately has the modern trend of obscure glass doors to the bathroom that do not shut properly OK if you are with the wife but may not suit those on the shy side. The Hotel next to a large indoor shopping centre but on the outskirts of the town, however there is a cheap bus service and we bussed into the old town for 1.30 Euros the service does finish at 9 so a taxi is needed if leaving the car at the hotel. Breakfast very basic and not very appetizing.

“Not impressed”

The hotel was clean and the room was nice, but very basic was expecting at least some showergel etc. Staff were nice and was good to have wi-fi, however the breakfast was terrible and was not worth eating at all, we also asked for a non smoking room and were put into a smoking room and there was loud music from a band outside util 5.30 in the morning. Very loud. Would recommend only if a very quick stopover and you dont intend a peaceful nights sleep with a nice breakfast awaiting you.
