“Nice, comfortable hotel”

The hotel was very nice, very comfortable, and convenient to I29. Penny's Diner was neat and the food was great. The people were very nice and quite accomodating. The hotel check-in is located in Penny's Diner which was a little different but not a problem.

“Nice little getaway”

This is a hidden gem. Small hotel but well maintained. Friendly staff, easy to get to off the Interstate. Adequate parking, good vending in the hotel, even a porch with rocking chairs to sit out on. Right next to a good old-fashioned American diner serving great, real food. Close to activities like county fairgrounds, historical museum, and DeSoto Wildlife refuge. Big city is only half an hour away if that's what you're looking for. When you get back you'll have a quiet, comfortable room to rest up in. TV had a good selection of channels, and (we visited in summer) the air conditioner kept the room nice and cool, but wouldn't keep you up all night with a noisy blower. All in all, we would recommend this for any weary traveler, or someone looking for a quiet getaway with a little local flavor.

“Loved it!”

Wonderful staff and nice, comfy dark rooms, got very good sleep. Remember to check in at the Diner 75 feet from the hotel.

counted 5 trains from 10 pm to 7 am very loud. a block away from tracks.
