"Everything was well laid out. Property was being worked on, but didn’t inconvenience anyone. Staff was friendly."

"The location is ideal with the driftwood covered beaches and walkability to local restaurants. The bed was comfy and the free buffet breakfast was great. On the other hand, the floors are THIN. We heard every step the family above us took and the nine showers (?). Also every door needs to be replaced. They all look like they barely survived standing water. Our slider was broken and missing its screen. I hope they’re just knee-deep in renovations, but I never saw a sign indicating such. Considering the cost per night, I expected better"

"This was a charming experience. The architecture is awesome. Matching the furnishings to the mid-century vibe was really cool too. The room layout is funky, but in a good way. Clearly a lot of effort has gone into making this a nice modern hotel that looks like a nostalgic throwback. The covered parking was a neat perk. The bedding was just OK. No breakfast, but there are plenty of places to get something nearby, including right across the street. There can be a bit of road noise."

"The first room we stayed in, the shower handle broke- transferred to another room that had a view of electrical equipment ( I reserved & paid for an ocean view!!) I repeatedly asked for a credit or different room, was told a manager would follow up with 0 response! The grounds are not up kept. The maid staff was very pleasant & friendly. The breakfast is not actually breakfast, it's cheap muffins & granola bars from 7-9am& 1 pot of coffee."
