“deeply impressed”
We chose this hotel after reviewing many hotels online and reading reviews by other travelers. I was very pleased with this hotel. The staff went out of their way to accomodate us with anything we needed. The breakfast was always fresh and our view was amazing. The only part that I can even mention that was not up to par was the elevators. They are a bit small and very slow. We were on the eigth floor so we had to be patient at times but other than that it was the best. I will definetly return here next year!
“Great Hotel”
I was here with my kids for 3 days and we had a great time. Pictures are as they appear on the website. Rooms were comfortable and clean, and very quiet. We would go back again. One thing that I would advise is to park on the wall side and not on the hotel side. Went down one morning to find orange peels and gum melted on the top of my convertable. I did talk to the manager on duty and he did send a staff member out to clean the gum off the car without hesitation which was greatly appreciated.
“Feb 2007 in Daytona”
It is back from the hurricane damage. Room on the oceanfront was great. I had to remind front desk that I had an oceanfront efficency, (bring your confirmation) Staff was pleasant and every morning the breakfast buffet was different. Food was delicious and presented well. Get North side or you will be looking at a huge construction job next door.
“excellent service”
I arrived at the hotel in the middle of the night. The first few minutes at the hotel was like a magic. The staff at the desk knew my name even before I got my reservation paper out or introduce myself. He had a form with my information ready before I arrived. He was very friendly and helpful. It took me probably only 2 minutes to check in. My room was clean. It had a beautiful ocean view. I was able to sit on the private balcony and watch the sunrise every morning. The service was prompt and efficient. Almost all the staff were polite, cheerful and helpful. In general, I have had great experience with the hotel and would recommend it to anyone without hesitation.

I've stayed at the Acapulco before. Didn't think twice about going back. Loved it the first time. Loved it this time. Great ocean view from both sides of hotel. The only thing that made it not as great this time, is that the Breakfast Buffet used to have scrambled eggs and bacon, etc., Now it's just like any other continental breakfast. Not near as satisfying as it was in 2003 when I was there. We missed the convenience of being able to go downstairs and eat a real breakfast meal in our own hotel. Instead we went to Ihop every morning. Otherwise it was, again, an enjoyable stay. And the price couldn't be beat. The price for that view and location, the center of Atlantic Avenue. was unbeatable, Right in the middle of it all.
