The Plaza Ocean Club is five blocks from the Ocean Center Convention Center and Ocean Walk Shoppes, a collection of upscale restaurants, shops, and a 10-screen movie complex. This Daytona Beach hotel is on a white-sand beach, where personal watercraft, parasails, banana boats, and bicycles are available (surcharges apply). The hotel provides a large oceanfront splash pool, a restaurant and bar with afternoon poolside service, and coin-operated laundry facilities.
The hotel is on one of the few Florida beaches where driving is permitted.

The 206 guestrooms in the 11-story, oceanfront Plaza Ocean Club are furnished in a contemporary style with light-wood furniture. Private balconies offer tables and chairs; some offer beach views. Additional amenities include complimentary wireless Internet access, desks, and 27-inch televisions with cable channels. All rooms have microwaves and compact refrigerators.

Atlantic Jack's on the Beach - Beach-casual restaurant and bar overlooking sundeck and pool features large-screen TVs, a pool table, and tropical décor. The restaurant is open for breakfast daily; the bar is open from afternoon until late night.
Recreation
Personal watercraft, banana boats, and parasails are available on the beach (surcharge). The hotel's outdoor sundeck holds a large oceanfront splash pool.
The public Daytona Beach fishing pier is five blocks from the hotel; fishing gear and bait are available (surcharge). The Daytona Lagoon waterpark offers water rides, slides, and pools three blocks away (surcharge).

“great hotel!”
we had a great ocean view... the staff was friendly for the most part and daytona is a great spring break destination!

Hotel was as described. Perfect for our needs with 2 teenage children. Older and young alike staying there. Within walking distance to everything. Will definitely go back without looking for other hotels.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean. Beds were very comfortable. Lovely view from porch. Perfect access to beach. Pool kept extremely clean. A great trip on perfect strip. You could'nt call it a drawback, but the pillows were very thin. :-)

very nice hote. was able to use the spa next door, and their pool as they are sister hotels. got to bring my animals. no problem. very, very nice staff. we had the best time. pool was great, and again used pool, spa and massages next door. will be back~!!

We had a great stay at this hotel. Absolutely no complaints! They simply couldn't do enough for us. We were extremely satisfied in every way .
“Great views”
Hotel design is great. Almost all rooms are ocean view. The view is slightly from the side but you can see the ocean on one side and the shops and nightlife on the other. Staff was wonderful. Close to a great deal of shops within walking distance. Razzles nightclub and Walgreens a block away. Only problem was not much parking and charge of $5 a night. Overflow parking a block away. I will definately stay again.
