“Awesomeness”
The room, lobby, elevators, hotel in general was very clean and elegant. Enjoyable stay made better by friendly staff willing to cater to any whim! Hey- its the Ritz-Carlton...
“Excellent service”
Everybody was extremely friendly. My suite was fantastic. It was like an apartment.
“Superlative Service”
Superlative Service is what separates the Ritz-Carlton from the rest! Everyone there made it seem that "my wish was their command." Pleasant greetings at every turn, no waiting in lines, solicitous entreats, and swift, accurate service were the name of the game. Many hotels have beautiful furnishings and nice surroundings, but few that I've experienced have the level of quality response that I found at the Denver Ritz-Carlton.

I found everyone at the Ritz-Carlton to be friendly and very helpful. It was a pleasure staying there.
“Terrific service”
The staff make it clear that your comfort and well-being is their number one concern. They always great guests with a friendly "how are you today?" They provide complimentary items like razors and shaving cream just to be nice. Their "fitness room" is a full-size gym with state-of-the-art exercise machines and a full-size basketball court. Rooms are serviced twice a day. The R-C creates the most wonderful hotel experience possible.
“ONLY a 4.5?!!!”
The hotel and staff were beyond a 4.5 status. A hotel can be kept clean, interesting and attractive but the staff will always be the true test. Attentive, professional, courteous, and helpful are only a few of the adjectives one can apply to the staff. A perfect weekend at a perfect hotel!
“It's like staying at the friggin' Ritz”
It's the people that make the difference at the end of the day. They are not petty. My wife wanted a two sodas for her and her Mom. Some angel delivered them to her in the lobby and waived off the cost. Everything was great, and we were not the easiest guests to handle. I really like Elways because it caters enough to the locals that it has a nice mix of people in it at night, not the the tomb of some high priced hotels where you are stuck with over priced drinks and little else. They cater to the locals by having humane price points. The breakfast crew could go back to Ritz hospitality school for a bit of brushing up and the bar stools are in bad need of restuffing. But, these things will take time, and I am not certain that Elway's is a Ritz property. It might be a concession, but I am sure they have the Ritz thumb on them if they need to. I have been a three decade devotee of another venerable downtown property and have been searching for a Plan B for a few years. This might be it. Nice place. Great people. Easy menu at Elways, but not the same surf and turf. Mostly, they are not petty or stuffy.
