“Comfortable Hotel in the middle of the Des Moines”
Full service hotel with helpful staff and good service. Hotel is over 25 years old but much has been refurbished and the beds were very comfortable. Can't beat the location if you need to be downtown.
“Great service and location”
Rooms were excellent for the price. Location is terrific near civic center and popular downtown restaurants. Hotel provided transportation to local restaurants and nightclubs. This was greatly appreciated as it was very cold and it saved us from getting the car out of the garage and trying to find parking on the street when we went to dinner. Would definately stay again.
“We never used our car the whole weekend!”
Everything was within walking distance... using the skywalk, which was protected from the weather...we were able to take in a home and garden show, a mystery dinner, and even shuttled both ways to an excellent fresh seafood dinner rest!
“nice hotel for conference and meetings”
the only problem I had was that the key to the room kept loosing its charge and I would have to go back to front desk and get new key...this happened twice but other than that it was a great hotel.

“Fabulous service, fabulous facility”
From the second we drove up to the door, the hotel staff treated us like we owned the place. The valet, front desk, and cafe were so helpful and friendly. The room was classy and pristine. The pool, hot tub, and workout room were exceptional. As a bonus, the Court Avenue district was within walking distance.

Disapointed in extra charge for internet use. Free parking at city garage directly across the street on Sat. & Sun.

A wonderful place to stay in Des Moines. It's in the center of downtown and very hospitable. The hotel restaurant serves quality food and the rooms are very clean.
