Could not fault the Swissotel - it was fantastic. Location is unbeatable.

It was my sister's birthday that weekend, and I'd booked a hotel staycation for us and mum to spend some time together. The check-in staff was extremely astute. Upon receiving our identification cards for registration, she immediately gleaned that it was my sister's birthday and on the quiet, she arranged for a birthday cake to be sent up to our room at a time of our convenience. Also, when she found out that we were mostly planning on staying in the room and watching DVDs (I'd asked if it was possible to borrow a player from the hotel, since our room didn't come with one) and she so kindly offered us a room upgrade to one that came with a DVD player since occupancy that weekend wasn't very high. The room was lovely, decorated with little Asian touches, which gave it a certain character compared to other regular hotel rooms. But other than the usual creature comforts, it really was the personal touch that made this hotel stand out for us, and that made all the difference.

Amazing hotel!! Everyone should experience the roof-top pool as it feels like you are on top of the world! Fabulous views, great rooms and superb location within walking distance to all kinds of restaurants, shopping and local features.

Great location great views the Chicago highly recommended and the sky lounge was a pleasure. No downside other than the getting in an out took a while to get right!

An excellent hotel and a really excellent location

Went to this hotel with no prior expectations for a nice romantic city break with my girlfriend. Hotel was best I've ever stayed in including the Langham Hilton in London, service was amazing and the breakfast was unbelievable. Join the golden circle club on arrival for great deals in all the in hotel bars and restaurants. Will always look for a shagrila when travelling Asia with the misses in future. The Malsian royal family were also there 2 of the 5 nights we visited just for food which should give u an idea of the standards they meet. Had a meal in Lafieta the in house restaurant largely considered as one of best in KL an left feeling like celebs the service etc was do good. Best hotel in KL just ask a local.
