Nice quiet room. I like the wood floors - no carpets so it feels clean. The hotel rooms are small in comparison to other hotels, but newly decorated throughout. Staff are polite and helpful even though it was very busy for them. You have to watch prices though. They jumped by $100 a night for the following night because a convention is in town. Same thing happened when 6 of us came down the film festival week. The prices jumped for that week. The hotel is close to the Eaton Centre if you are shoppers.

The elegance and history of the hotel add immensely to the experience, from the beamed ceiling with instarsia York roses, coats of arms and crowns, the art deco wall sconces, the brilliant chandeliers -- even the elevators are minutely and grandly decorated. The room was very comfortable, with two stuffed armchairs in addition to the well-structured desk chair. The quality of the bed was amazing. But best of all is the location, right across from the Go Train, with easy access to a wide range of dining and cultural activities and shopping. A completely enjoyable holiday!

I love this hotel. The staff are great, the location is fantastic and the ambiance is very historic. I stay here for all of my business travel.

The staff went out of their way to make our stay the best. The boiler went out and we did mot have heat - they gave us an upgraded suite, comped our meals and provided us with room service.

Beautiful hotel and room. Staff were friendly and quick with check-in and check-out. Parking attendants were friendly. Room was clean. We were able to walk to the falls and several restaurants. We paid for a nice view and jacuzzi tub, but it was a great price compared to other hotels.

An excellent hotel - we booked a double queen room with separate living room, which was perfect for a family of four to be comfortable. Also had a great view of the fireworks over the Falls, which was an added bonus! Good price, convenient walking distance to everything. It is a beautiful, new and clean hotel. Nice indoor pool and Starbucks onsite. Free internet. Just don't go to the IHOP across the street for breakfast, it is a total rip-off (mediocre food, ridiculous prices, questionable service). We didn't try the Double-Tree restaurant but it would probably have been a better choice. We've stayed in a lot of places in Niagara Falls and this was the best so far.

Excellent location, right next to Robson Street, a couple of blocks from the metro, lots of great restaurants. A 10 minute walk to catch the ferry to the Granville Public Market. Hotel is very comfortable, staff is great. Carly, one of the concierge, is exceptionally helpful! We would stay there again. Only downer is that you have to pay for Internet and there is no free wi- fi!
