Caribbean Hotels

Oh my! What can I say? The friendliest people you can find in a hotel. We went there to book our room when we arrived in Trinidad to go to St Lucia. We were only staying on our way back from St Lucia. Even though we weren't guests as yet, they allowed us to stay, drink bottled water, kept our bags, free shopping mall and airport. The day we came back, thu picked us up. The ride to the hotel is 4 minutes. The rooms were of a high standard. We were surprised since it wasnt any different from the All-inclusive we were in St Lucia. I'd go back everytime. Decent price too!!

Hotel is beautiful, clean and staff are friendly. Beautiful grounds, rooms, beach. Beachfront rooms views are breathtaking.

Very relaxing stay. Staff were friendly and courteous and wnet out of their way to make us feel welcom.

The fishing was spectacular for bonefish as well as offshore for dolphin and wahoo. And the lodge really exceeded my expectations. The rooms are okay, but I was only in mine to sleep. The rest of the lodge is impressive, especially the outside bar and dining area. But what really made the trip so incredible was the staff. They went out of their way to make my traveling companion comfortable -- it was her first trip outside the US, and she was a bit nervous. Dennis and Ashley took her out snorkeling, and she loved it (I was off fishing everyday). By the end of the trip she did not want to leave! The fishing guide was very knowledgeable and fun. I will definitely be going back soon as it was a wonderful experience. And the food is really good as well.

The staff was very friendly, very helpful. The room was spotless, nicely air conditioned, and it was very quiet, even though the hotel was pretty full. My most favorite part was the breakfast buffet - spectacular assortment of fresh fruit, french pastries, bread, ham, cheese, eggs, omelettes, coffee, about 8 juices, a small fresh fruit smoothie, home made jams, dried fruits, cereals, granola, and more. I looked forward to it every day. The dinner we had could have had a salad included, or a few more vegetables. It did not quite match the excellence of the breakfast. We only ate dinner once, so didn't give it a chance. The hotel is situated at the entrance to a cay, situated between two small mountains, and there was a great beach bar there. The pool was about 3-4 pool lengths long, and wound around in wonderful ways. There was a great shallow area for children, with actual sand in their area. I would have liked to have easier access to maps and activities.

I have stayed at this hotel several times. It has a great location near the airport and Marigot. Front and back views from the rooms are terrific. The rooms are clean and well laid out. The Sapphire is a time share resort which also acts as a hotel. The rooms are all essentially efficiency apartments or larger so there is plenty of room. The balconies are also large. If you book here, call them directly and ask for an upper level room, since the views are a little better.
