Excellent hotel location in the City of Guangzhou. The subway access is just outside the hotel, the surrounding area affords a wide variety of resturants, hangout spots, 10 minute walk to shopping on Beijing Lu (Beijing Road), another 10 minute walk to the wild water front area of the Pearl River. After 11pm your guests need to be checked in at the front desk (with credentials) and check out on the way out after their visit. The staff speaks proficient English at the front desk, you can exchange money and room assistance is excellent. We had a standard room and was immediately upgraded to a business class room for free. Maybe a one time thing...who knows. Even though I never ate at the hotel, the prices is affordable...if not the options are endless around the Haizu Square area where the hotel is located.
