Friendly staff, clean facilities, comfortable room

Great hotel very comfortable room and staff more than helpful. Only stayed two nights when visiting our son who lives and works in Wilmington. Also added bonus of seeing Harlem Globetrotters booking in same time as us! Nice pool which we had all to ourselves when we used it. Overall 100% and would definitely stay again.

This was a business trip and the staff were quick to answer any questions, the breakfast was fine and the room spotless. The alarm clock did not work.

Nice hotel with excellent service. We stayed at the Henoplen Hotel before which was horrible. I may not be spelling the name correctly, but it was Henopen or something like that....This hotel was the difference of night and day, yet the other hotel was a high rise on the beach and charged more, but you got a lot less for your money. The breakfast was also quite reasonable and satisfying and the attending staff was very proficient, helpful and friendly. I plan to stay at this hotel again. Bravo to Holiday Express! I hope the price remains the same.

We needed a quick, relaxing getaway and that's what we got. The fourth floor suites are very pleasant. The staff treats you like royalty. The breakfasts were delicious. The place is so quiet! The sitting areas everywhere make it feel like you're in someone's mansion:) the fourth floor refreshments came in handy. I'd come back and recommend this - for sure! The only disappointment was the pool was not ready, and the hot tub was older and they keep it at 100, which is not very hot.

great location. park your car and walk everywhere. the suite rooms have been updated since last year. New beds, linens,carpet and furniture have been updated. the hallways could use new carpet. very pleasant stay.

All the rooms are on ground level so no lugging suitcases up and down stairs. Each room has its own parking space right outside the door. The heat/air conditioner worked great. There is a microwave and refrigerator. There were stains on the refrigerator door, but it was clean and cold inside. The sink drained slowly. (I didn't report the problem because I didn't want to have to wait for any maintenance people. Minor problem that will most likely be fixed quickly.) There were stains on the bathtub, but it was clean and the shower worked good. Hot water right away and plenty of it. Good water pressure. The pillows were perfect and the beds and bedding were comfortable.

Room was good size, bed super comfortable and the staff excellent! Great location to Dover Downs, free shuttle running til 10 pm. Didn't get the chance to try the restaurant on site, but would definately recommend!
