great hotel at a wonderful vibrant location. Worth every cent.

The Washington Hotel is about 10-15 mins walk from Shinjuku station provided you get out at the correct exit (South) Just straight down the street and follow the signs and you should be there OK. The Hotel has been there a few years but the rooms are clean and comfortable. The service is great and the staff friendly.

I had booked this hotel by looking at reviews and photos on here. This was a great hotel, we really enjoyed our stay here... So much do that we added a night rather than staying in a hotel at the airport (the hotel has a shuttle for both Haneada and narita airports). The location of this hotel is perfect. It's about a 30second walk from the south or south terrace exit of shinjuku JR station. There is a citi bank with an ATM room 24/7 which has English menus, a convenience store and all the malls and restaurants if shinjuku very close by. The hotel itself is modern with a large lobby. There us wifi in the lobby which is fast but no wifi in rooms. The staff at the hotel were always on hand to help us when we needed it, they spoke great English and were helpful. The room, the room we had was an economy double, the room is small by western standards but for Japan is was the largest room we had. The room also had all the amenities we needed, shampoo toothbrushes fridge etc. If I visit japab in the future I will defiantly return to this hotel!

Very cute and a nice surprise in the middle of bustling Osaka. Clean, charming, and quite large for a 2-double bed room in Japan. The hotel is in a quieter area of the city and a brisk 5-minute walk from the JR Osaka station. Staff spoke English and were very helpful as well. Loved our stay!

I'd say the Hearton was one of the best places we stayed at during our visit to Japan.

rooms much bigger than typical japanese hotel. westerner-friendly bathroom, quiet rooms, comfortable bed, free internet, 3 blocks from sapporo station, great price. excellent experience overall.

A wonderful experience in every way. Very highly recommended.
