Louisiana Hotels

I did a lot of research on where to stay in New Orleans. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the price on this hotel. A hotel like this in New York city would be triple the price. It's a great hotel in a great location. We are totally going to the Omni Royal again.

Location was our goal and this hotel was easy in and easy out. Whether it was for a walking tour or to board a trolly or coming and going by car everything was well marked and was easily accessed. Staff was courteous, helpful and the services adequate.

Starting from check in, this place is impressive. Huge, ornate facade for the porte-cochère, immediate attention from the service staff even late at night, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches too! Staff was very kind and attentive to details and the room was very comfortable. Any problems were addressed immediately. Also, check in as an Expedia Elite member was over the top! Lots of nice little perks. Conveniently located near the French Quarter and the Central Business District. Totally will stay here again.

My wife and I were in Louisiana for a funeral and wanted to be as comfortable as possible under the circumstances. We were very pleased at the warmth and charm of the people and the lodging. The service, dining, & room amenities were a touch of southern hospitality with elegance, history, and warmth. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere to stay when in the Leesville area.My wife and I have stayed here on numerous occassions and we have always been pleased with our stay.

For Leesville the hotel is fine. You aren't going to Leesville for a 4-star luxury vacation and spa package. The Super8 gives you a clean room and place to sleep at night. The down sides are: 1) no place to really hang clothes except in the bathroom on a rack that is too small 2) windows don't open, so no fresh air which means you have to run the fan/heater all night long 3) bed has no blankets which means you have to run the heater all night long. The positives were 1) staff were super friendly and helpful 2) cleanliness 3) price

This hotel was as good as more expensive hotels. I liked the price.
