“best in the area”
Better than expected, even extended my stay. 30 second walk to the beach! Very friendly staff, the best cocktails ever and lovely resturaunt, breakfast fantastic and room was better than expected, even extended my stay! 30 second walk one way to the beach and 30 seconds other way to the town! Reviews about the noise from the bar worried me but i heard nothing (2nd floor) Looked at a few other hotels in the area that i was compairing before travelling and definately made the right decision! If working or visiting bic center ot os opposite, also good location for visiting local shows! Costs around 5pounds in taxi from station!
“Good solid hotel”
Good hotel, more B&B really, located in an historic building. Nice room, polite and knowledgeable people at the front desk. Excellent location for the Bournemouth Pavilion, which is why I picked the hotel in the first place. Only negative to the entire experience was server in restaurant who didn't understand English very well and got my order slightly wrong at breakfast, bu other than that it was fine.
“Was perfect for me”
without any hesitation I recommend this hotel
“definately no.1 choice in bournemouth town centre”
This hotel is nice and modern, clean.had a single room with cot.nice room, flat screen tv.breakfast 10/10.buffet with all juices, cereals, fruit and cakes.friendly staff who then take order for tea/coffee/cooked breakfast.lively popular bars underneath hotel.very impressed will definately stay there again next time.also so close to the seafront/pier and also round the corner from shops.top location, couldn't get any better!and free parking too!
“Worth a visit”
Stayed there one night when visiting for a Stag-do. Very spacious and clean single room. Lively bars through the drinks were excessively pricey. Could be noisy at night becuase of the music from the bars.
“Good Value”
Good value hotel in very good location. Good breakfast. Only problem was the shower didn't work well and room would benifit from air conditioning.
“nice hotel apart from the bars”
very nice hotel and the staff were very friendly hotel was very clean and tidy and was very impressed when i walked in. The breakfast was very nice and staff was very help full and service was good. The hotel is opposite the bic centre so very handy if your going to a show their, also only 1 min walk to beach and couple on minutes walk to town. The only down points to the hotel is the floor boards where very squeaky and could here every step when someone walked above you, the other downside was the bar, their open to public and at the weekends the bars are extremely busy and loud, you couldn't relax with a drink, one bar was a cocktail bar and very nice but extremely loud and very busy i waited for half an hour and still hadn't been served, the other was very loud and full of groups going clubbing. apart from that the stay was good.
“A classic style with nightclub mix”
This is a strange hotel. Our room was large. Had an LCD TV with badly tuned channels. A well stocked tea and coffee set stuck on the wall. There appears to be two very noisey and rammed bars in the base of the hotel until midnight. Superbly located for the beach and town.
“Excellant”
Excellant hotel, perfect for what I was looking for. Close to everything with a lovely bar/club within the grounds. Perfect for exploring Bournemouth. Would stay again next time I visit Bournemouth.
“Central and good value.”
Nice traditional Victorian seaside hotel. Squeaky old floorboards! Very good location. Room small, but comfortable enough and very quiet. Breakfast fine. Staff friendly.
