“Very nice stau”

We had to travel to Dothan for a funeral and were not sure where to stay. We selected The Country Inn after reading other travelers reviews and we were not at all disappointed. The staff was great, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. If traveling to Dothan again we would surely stay here

The only disappointment was the sofa bed. It was thin and wirey, kids had a hard time sleeping on it.

“Wonderful hotel in Dothan, AL”

My coworker and I were quite fortunate to be able to stay at this hotel at a rate that works within state per diem. The hotel appears to be clean, is comfortable, and quiet. My room was equipped with enough electric outlets, conveniently placed, for my equipment (a rarity on state per diem). The bed was comfortable, not too hard or soft. The room's temperature control was easy to operate. The bathroom had more than enough counter space for my stuff (only one person in the room). The shower had adequate hot water. Water pressure was a little lower than I expected, but no disappointingly so. The bathroom appeared to be quite clean. Housekeeping apparently cleaned counter surfaces and maybe the tub/shower only; housekeeping did not replace towels on a daily basis. The towels weren't scratchy and were more substantial than I expected. The toilet was higher, so those with small children may need to take heed. The room had an adequate microwave, fridge, and a considerable cable TV package. The hotel gym is equipped as well as expected; equipment covers basic cardio. The indoor pool is nice, but don't expect a significant olympic-style workout. Please note that the hotel has an elevator; the elevator tends to be slow. The hotel is a little hard to find in traffic, but is located within walking distance of the Home Depot, a Publix, and at least 3 restaurants. The hotel's location appeared to be safe and accomodating for those who like to walk outside.

Staff was very friendly, room was very clean. My husband and I would recommend this hotel and we would stay again if traveling through Dothan again.

“Satisfied”

Suite was good size. Kids could watch tv in one room and parents watch something else in the other room. There was a door to close between the two rooms. Pull out couch, as expected, was not comfortable. When I woke up the next morning my son was sleeping on the floor. Nice breakfast selection.

“go Thou up to Dothan”

Very nice facility and great breakfast. Allowing us to have a late checkout was greatly appreciated as we were in town for a wedding. The staff was as nice as possible, not just at the front desk but in every hallway and the kitchen! No matter who we encountered they were friendly and always wanting to do one more thing than was being asked of them. Very service oriented. I had forgotten what that is like without having to pay very high prices. Its reputation for being the best in town is well deserved.

“Good Choice”

This hotel is centrally located around all the action in Dothan, including every restaurant you can think of. The staff are friendly and the breakfast was quite good. There were a few stains on the carpet in our room, but otherwise it was a clean and neat hotel. We appreciated the rental library in the lobby.
