“Very affordable”

This is an older hotel on the Hwy 231 circle, it was very affordable and the internet worked without any difficulties. The staff was friendly and accommodating. This hotel is close to US Army FT Rucker yet far enough that you are away from base noises. Many eateries are within walking distance. It is somewhat noisy due to the main hwy traffic.

The motel was very cheap but the room was really nice. I had no problems and would stay there again.

The room i was in had a few bugs in bath area.

this place used to be half way decent but no frills but very quickly is becoming the dive of Dothan. it is however very cheap and I suppose we should not complain but when faucet is coming out of sink and toilet runs all night and bathtub is peeling paint and finally room service 2 out of 4 days and that was only offered the 2 days the first day they came so early we told them no so room service 1 day out of 4. it seems to me that ownership has changed and now has become another one of those foreign owned places

“not that impressed”

for starters i have a small dog that i took with me and when i checked in they said nothing about an extra fee, i would only find out after they locked me out of my room that there is a fee and a fine for not paying the fee...what great help the gentleman was that checked me in. The room was pretty stale smelling and the bathroom was filthy,dust bunnies in the corners and the paint in the tub was half way peeled off,needless to say there was a dead cockroach in there as well. but, in turn it was a cheap room so decide for yourself!

“Disappointed”

The swimming pool was drained of water during our entire stay in 100 degree summer weather. Gold's gym privileges were no longer available during stay. Complimentary continental breakfast/coffee was never ready when we checked so we left and went to Waffle House for a wakeup cup of coffee each day. There was a burn hole in the blanket on our bed, unemptied wastebaskets during our stay, and the AC was off upon arrival in reserved room (took several hours. to cool the room so we left for 3 hrs. until it cooled off and no pool to cool off in). We had stayed here once before and it had good features at that time. This time was a disappointment.
