“Amazing Deal”
This is a fabulous hotel where all the units are suites. The rooms are large and spacious with a separate sitting area and kitchenette. The staff are extremely welcoming and the location opposite the Deira City Center mall is great. Best of all, since it was summer, the prices were very, very low for a property of this quality.
“My experience at Al Sondus”
Excellent location, walking distance of 2 minutes to Dubai Metro line and the City Center entrance. Very good location, apartments are very comfortable, clean and pleasing to stay. Internet access in the room should be free, not per device for each day, because now all hand helds, phones, computers and tablet PCs are on wifi. If internet is included in the room rate, this is a superb location to stay, excellent value for money.
“Wonderful Staff. Great Stay”
The staff at Al Sondos Suites by Le Meridien was the friendliest and most helpful staff I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing in many overseas trips. From the manager to the wait staff to the bellman the staff went out of their way to help me get what I needed or where I needed to go 24 hours a day. I had to leave the hotel before the rest of my party, but I felt that I was leaving them in very capable and protective hands (albeit in a safe country) and that, in and of itself, had me rebook with them when our travels took us back to Dubai unexpectedly. Although not in the center of things, it is very close to the airport, and the City Centre Mall is across the street, accessible via the air conditioned underground immaculately clean transit sytem. It made going to the mall for lunch, shopping at Carrefour, exchanging money, accessing cash machines, etc... incredibly easy.
“Wonderful Staff”
Best Place I've Stayed in the Middle East. Off the beaten path, but convenient to airport and nice mall across the street. Great jumping off point. Never met nicer staff - smiling and happy to help - and when I called back a few days later to check on a guest that stayed longer than I did they remembered me by name.
“Very satisfied”
Very pleasant hotel, clean, comfortable and great location next to the metro station and city center. Also the price was reasonable and worth the stay. I will surely have this hotel as a first priority when I return to Dubai again.
“Dubai central location”
The location in very good,near city center and underground station.All suits hotel is nice.They need to pay more attention to house keeping ,we had to call for towels and bathroom stuff daily.They have some crazy music in the elevators,it scary,things you hear in hunted houses!!!
“Decent Hotel, nothing amazing”
Overall, i was rather satisfied with my stay, i stayed here for 5 nights and expected quite alot, as the pictures on expedia and the fact its part of the le meridein chain, obviously you'd expect great things, right? well when i arrived i was greeted rather rudely andf had to wait 30 mins for a room. the hotels pool is more like a bath tub.The Cafe/Restraunt is very over priced hence why it was always so empty, people including myself only used it for the free wi-fi. The staff in the hotel (mainly the house keepers), were fantastic, my room was always clean, they were very fast if you called them and they maike sure your stay was a good one.
“Bad Experience”
Pool-no umbrellas or foliage around, sunbeds painted donkey brown (not meridien colours) pool is not temperature controlled, closed repeatedly for superchlorination, on 1st floor behind building, unsuitable for sun bathing. Massage room now an office, sauna & steam only upon request. Understaffed, towels old & shabby, Recommend you stay elsewhere.
