“Nice for over night stay, close to airport”
Hotel was nice, service great, close to airport for early departures.
“Going solo?”
Very comfortable quality rooms, but the hotel is on a very busy roundabout and the traffic noise can get quite excessive early in the morning. There are no single breakfast seats - all is set up for couples or fours: if you can, go later to breakfast and make it a brunch.

The hotel is cool, the room was clean and well equipped. The car park is cheap, 10 dirham per day/night but the internet is less, 18 dirham for one hour connection, but the wifi is available in every rooms. The situation is good as you ca easily walk to the Twin Towers, the souks or to an abra station to go the other side of the Creek. Two mall with plenty shops are at less than 200 meters. By car it's reasonnably quick to get out from the city as the hotel is near mains roundabouts and the airport is at less than 15min drive.
“Cheaper than the Glitzy ones.”
Good value hotel. Not expensive, but still clean safe and comfortable. I was only in Dubai overnight so I didn't need a lot of glamour. The bar downstairs was friendly. I would return for a longer stay.
“A Good Value for the Money!”
This being our first time visiting the Middle East, we weren't sure what to expect from a 3-star hotel, and so booked the Claridge Hotel with a little anxiety. We are pleased to report that Reception and the hotel staff members were always very helpful and attentive and spoke English well. The breakfast buffet was just a tad limited in variety but very tasty! Hot water was plentiful in the shower, but cold water seemed to be in short supply; however, we were pleased to find fresh towels every day, too! The Claridge Hotel was conveniently located by a major landmark and several convenience stores for purchasing miscellaneous bottled water and cold sodas, or whatever incidental needs we had. It was only a few hundred yards from Dubai's beautiful Metro train station (which was very easy to use--and quite a bargain). We would stay here again in the future.

Good location 5 minutes from Deira centre and gold market. Do not get the taxi they offer as it will charge double. walk outside and flag down one.
“Not too bad for a short stay - affordable”
Don't let them keep your passport at the reception. Thye will try to. Go figure??? Noisy nightclubs below, everynight...
“Had a grungy feel to it.”
Not especially nice. Centrally located but difficult to find especially at night. We asked at least 15 people for directions to the fish roundabout and were given 15 different directions. We literally spent over an hour trying to find the hotel.
“NEED SOME WORK”
My room was infested with roaches which made it very uncomfortable to stay in.
