“Good Service”
This was my second visit to the Ashling after a gap of 4 years. They have undergone extensive refurbishment, which is not yet fully completed. Despite the ongoing works the hotel was in good condition the only negative being the lack of a lift from the car park to the reception, means lugging cases up the stairs. We were originally allocated a smoking room, but on request this was immediately changed to a non-smoking. The breakfast was good and seems competitively priced, with other locsations in the area. All the staff were friendly and eager to help.

“Two-night stay in Dublin April 2011”
The location of this hotel property was perfect for us since we planned to park our hired car for the few days we were in Dublin and use the light rail transit system. THe car park was convenient and reasonable, and the train stop very convenient. At day's end, the hop on off bus dropped us right at the hotel. We dined in the hotel dining room one night at the end of a long day sight-seeing and the service and food was excellent. The breakfast buffet was not outstanding, but fine for a good start to the day.

“Would definitely stay there again”
The hotel was nice and modern and comfortable. The location was great. There was a tram that ran right in front of the hotel and our choice of stops. There's a nice Museum of Decorative Arts right next to the hotel. Not a lot of hotels in Dublin can accommodate a family of 4. My sister, who was staying on the same floor, but in a different wing, had a nicer, more modern bathroom. We would definitely stay here again!
“Great for the Price”
We stayed here not knowing the area. It's about a 20 minute walk to Temple Bar (or a quick ride on the trolly which is right outside the hotel) and local shopping. Being 2 females we walked everywhere during the day and cabbed it back at night. It's about a 20 euro cab ride from the airport, which is about the same you would pay for two people taking a shuttle. And it's about a 10 euro cab ride from temple bar. The staff was more than friendly! I would definitely recommend this hotel!
“Ashling Review”
A very good hotel. Location just outside the centre ensuring a quite and peaceful nights sleep. Right on the tram line with a stop at the Museum, 5 min walk. This comes every 10 minutes and takes a few minutes into Abbey Street. One big advantage of this hotel is the benefit of the approximately 5 Euro airport bus almost stopping at the front door. This saves around a 25 Euro taxi ride. Clean hotel, helpful staff and a good bar
