“A very pleasant stay”
The staff were friendly, the room was very clean and the hotel was central.
“Lovely guesthouse in a lovely street”
We enjoyed our stay and even re-booked another night at the end of our journey around Ireland. The mezzanine room was spacious enough for three, and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. We all loved being able to sit in the lounge and have a coffee and home made biscuits after a day of sightseeing! Good location close to Dublin by public bus or taxi, and easily accessible from the airport, with good ammenities in the same street. The staff were very helpful, we had a great stay!
“Quite Charm”
The Pembroke is in the Georgian architecture area of Dublin and is a beautiful building both inside and out. The staff are friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff always keep everything just right. The dining area was nice with a good breakfast.
“ver good”
Stayed at the Pembroke Town House the weekend of the Take That concert as a group of 50 pluses and could not fault it. Extremely friendly staff who helped us to find our way on many occasion including to Johnnie Fox's pub. Hotel in good area, handy for town and had a lovely room with georgian balcony. Good to have a car park with no charge too Would recommend
“One of Dublin's best”
Pembroke Town House was very comfortable from the moment we arrived. Our room was ready and breakfast was being served in dining room. The hotel is in a mostly residential area and is only a few blocks from most of Dublin's attractions, although taxi's are easily hailed from the street. Our room had king sized bed and a loft with a bed which was great for our teenage daughter. The bathroom was also unexpectedly large with a full sized tub & shower combo. The front desk was extremely helpful with restaurant suggestions in the neighborhood. They even saved our daughter's pizza in the fridge & heated it up for her the next day! If you are looking for a comfortable small lodging with a real Irish flavor, this is the place for you.
“Excellent Stay”
Myself, my wife and baby son stayed at the Pembroke Townhouse for one night and I couldn't fault a thing. The hotel was clean and well kept, the room was spacious (even with a cot in there) and the staff courteous and efficient. They arranged a babysitter for us so my wife and I could go out for a few hours in the evening and even gave us breakfast a little ahead of the official start when the babay was up early. With it's central location I would recommend this hotel highly for business or pleasure.
“Very very happy!”
When we were booking hotels in Dublbin we read a lot of reviews. The Pembroke house hotel looked like it was the nicest one. When we got to the hotel we were even more surprised to have such excellent service by all the workers and the hotel was wonderful overall. Would we recommend this hotel.....you bet! Great location! Great service and very very clean!!! The key to get into the rooms were pretty funny but it made for an even better story! Well done Pembroke House!
“Good value for money, denfinately worth a revisit.”
Pembroke Town House is a well-presented, smart-looking hotel. It is within walking distance from the popular city centre attractions and has many local bars and restaurants that offer a wide choice of eating preferences. The reception staff were very helpful and pleasant to talk to and made me feel welcomed. There were one or two little niggles about the room itself, such as a gurgling radiator that needed 'bleeding', a plug chain that was not connected to the sink and a loose tap. All of which didn't really bother me, but attention to detail was not high on the hotel's priority. But all in all, I enjoyed my stay and would definately consider staying there again.
“great for a weekend away”
I planned this trip lastminute but have stayed at the townhouse pembroke on 4 previous occasions. the place is charming and small and you wont get lost going to your room. the downstairs has a comunal drins area which is complimentary, there are no drinks makers in the bedrooms. this seems strange at first but you get used to ordering coffee or tea at reception and its all inclusive. You can walk into the city centre in 30 mins, and catch the coach back to the airport from the main road near the hypedermic.
“I'd go back again.”
The room was reasonably priced (especially for Dublin) and very conveniently located for me. It was well-kept and clean. I had a room away from the street and it was very quiet. The hotel was well-decorated and attractive, but, oddly, the carpet seemed out of place, i.e. industrial-grade, not what you'd expect in a nice hotel. It struck me only because it was a bit out of place. The bed was fine, nothing special. In all, I would recommend it. It is not luxury, but it was well worth the price.
