“great hotel great location”
stayed here for one night with my husband and really enjoyed it. The hotel was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the staff were very helpful. would def stay here again on our next trip to Dublin
“Great location”
Great location right across the street from a 24 hr car park. Room was small but clean had everything needed reception was really nice had a modern boutique feel which was nice. Free wifi in the lounge which was very handy. We booked here because of location I was concerned because some of the reviews here but for us everything was great. If you want a Luxury hotel this isn't going to meet your expectations. If you want a modern clean fresh hotel with an awesome location stay here.
“Very good location”
Great hotel, convenient and clean. The staff were very helpful, letting us check in early into our room, very much appreciated! Very secure as well. Will definitely stay again!
“Excellent hotel, was a great surprise!”
The hotel was very clean, friendly employees and excellent location, as you have everything near and you are right there in the pub's street. A great choice!
“Centrally located”
This hotel is currently being refurbished but we hardly noticed apart from the slight smell of paint. Our room was spotless with tea/coffee facilities, flat screen TV and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom immaculate with a heated towel rail and powerful shower. The staff are extremely friendly and we even received a complimentary pint of Guinness on arrival. Situated right at the start of Temple Bar and almost on the river we couldn't have asked for a better location. We will go back.
“great location”
The hotel is located in the centre of all the action but it is close to clubs and it can be quite loud at night (Friday and Saturday's). Also the hotel does not have wifi in all rooms - only the lobby area. The hotel was very clean and had a great roof top patio. Check out the Thai resturant across the street - was fantastic!!!
“Central location, fresh renovation- 3-4 stars”
Great central location, and while the outside looks a little shabby, the inside is a brand new renovation that is sort of an upscale 1960's go-go meets 2010 Asian fusion in the public spaces. The rooms are nicely modern with fairly comfortable beds. Room was a touch cold at first. The building, while old, has had significant recent upkeep, though you have to hike through the building a bit to get to the back rooms. Security is good in the building and the staff is friendly, helpful, and on the desk 24hrs. They will apparently have wifi in the rooms in about a month or so- had to access it from the main lounge/ reception area. Parking is down the street at a discount in a public lot. Bathrooms are clean, modern, could use a little more hot water (good for one long shower or two shorter ones) Bring your own soap and shampoo- they have a soap dispenser that while is eco-friendly, doesn't quite work... Can get a little noisy throughout the night with city noises. Good for all kinds of tourists and visitors, especially adults. Good deal for the price and location
“Superb location, newly renovated to high standard, friendly staff”
The proprietor(s) have obviously spent a great deal of money and time renovating this hotel. We arrived pretty much the day before the final licks of paint were applied and the interior now looks superb. Our room was clean, comfortable and stylish, the bathroom the same. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location could not have been better. Previous reviews did not, thankfully, deter us. The hard work has paid off as this hotel deserves its 3 stars and should no doubt be a full house before long. We would definitely recommend this hotel and the "sister" bar below, O'Sullivans. If we were to return to Dublin again, which I hope we do as we had such a fantastic time, we would stay in this hotel again.
“Great Hotel”
Recently refurbished to an acceptable standard. Although we did not have wi-fi in the room due to current renovations (was accessible in the lobby area). Had luggage storage which is a plus, so you can go out for the day after checking out. Great location, easy walk to temple bar and O'Connell Street. Would stay there again.
“Central Location”
Central location right in the middle of Dublin - very easy to walk to all of the sights. Good hotel for the price. Not suitable for long stays as no wardrobe in the room. Staff were very helpful. Continental breakfast at 7.50 euros was good value. We had a room facing the side lane - no view but mostly quiet (given that the hotel is in Temple Bar) - we slept well.
