“Timmerman's Hotel”
The hotel (it's actually a motel) was a fine place to stay for the night. My only problem was finding it in the dark even with the help of my GPS system. It is definately "off the beaten path" - both by being across the river in East Dubuque and then being off the main road a bit.so I didn't spot it as I drove past.
“Good experience.”
While our time was limited to one night, I would not hesitate to stay longer. We were in Dubuque for a wedding and this motel served all our needs well. I wish it we were there in the summer so I could enjoy the wonderful golf course across the street. Good restaurant connected.

We were very happy with our 2 night stay. The hotel and room were very clean and desk clerk was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a comfortable stay with nice pool at a very reasonable price.
“Best Hotel in Dubuque”
I was very pleased with Timmermans, we were mainly looking for a hotel close to the casinos. it was 6 minutes away, nice and quiet. I have recommended this hotel to family and friends. Very impressed and very pleased with the hotel and staff. Can't wait to go back.

The room was clean and the room was great for our stay. The only negative is that appliances and decor are outdated, but otherwise we enjoyed our stay!
“Timmerman's Stay”
For the money it was good. It was clean. There was a smell but I got a room freshner and it was fine. The only thing I found not nice was the toilet seat. I swear its been there since it opened. We will stay there again if we get that way. Went to the Supper Club and the food was very good.
“Quiet, clean, off-season resort hotel”
We chose Timmermans because it was conveniently located and economically priced during the off-season. It was quiet and comfortable. There were some fixures that were old and could use replacements. The continental breakfast was pretty dry, but it was a quiet place to rest.
