Once again the facility was clean, beds comfortable, but the bathroom needed a complete remodel. Shower head had no water pressure, old toilet sat extremely low to the floor, walls & baseboards were water damaged. Also when we left the sprinkler system had ran that night and sprayed my truck leaving a calcium rich water stain on the windshield, hood, and side. Wipers and windshield washer fluid would not remove it. Align the heads!!

The breakfast time was a let down. I didn't expect much and honestly don't judge a hotel by their breakfast. If you rate it highly, don't expect to enjoy that experience. The waffle mix clumped out and stopped pouring (mix was not good). I informed the person working the breakfast. After grunting at me, she just took the container out, opened the lid and attempted to pour more in my little cup. Many items were empty (slow to keep up with a very low occupancy). I tried the waffle, after three bites, I decided to not finish it. It tasted off. The room was ok. The A/C worked well. The shower head needed cleaning as mineral deposits had clogged up some of the shower head openings.

The La Quinta in Dumas was clean but the room needed some maintenance. Also the breakfast was not good. We stay at La Quinta's a lot but this one had bear minimum breakfast . No yogurts, all items were low. Coffee was luke warm. Not a good experience like we normally have at La Quinta.

Hotel needs some TLC. We’ve stayed there many times over the years and were disappointed by the lack of quality maintenance. Icky, half-assed fixes show how little is invested in this property. Day manager and breakfast food were fine. Evening clerk has a friend in a broken down car sitting at the front door for hours. Kind of off putting but she was a good clerk.
