“Traveling Fisherman”
A great place to stop on my way back from fishing in Baja. The hotel has underground parking with security, a nice bar to relax in, and a very good resturant. Andy, the new owner, is an American aiming to please his customers.
“Everything you'd need at a reasonable Rate Close to Downtown”
My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights for the Rosarito Ensenada 30th Annual Fun Ride during April of 2009. The hotel was relatively clean, comfortable, and conveniently close to the downtown area. The shower was probably the weakest element of the room in terms of attractiveness. Cable service has english channels as well as spanish ones. The view from the third floor towards the coast was unimpressive, but pleasant enough. All in all, given the reasonable rates and cheery service, it's recommended.
“Great service”
Good hotel for the price. It is right on Ensenada bay. I could see the ocean from my hotel room. Walking distance from the downtown area, which includes Papas and Beer, and Hussongs Cantina. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ensenada.
“good place to stay in Ensenada”
nice, clean hotel withing easy walking distance from the marina. nice bar, didn't try the restaurant. Beds were a little firm but ok.
“Can Right on the Water be a bad thing?”
The Costa Baja Condo Hotel was average overall, but a great bargain for the price! The location of this hotel is both good and bad. The hotel is close enough to be within walking distance of the main strip in downtown Ensenada, while at the same time, far enough to be clear of the late night partying and all of the noise that may or may not generate. The downside of the hotel's "right on the water" location, is that it is within eyeshot and unfortunately, earshot, of the cruise ships. We woke up at 6am to the drone of ship horns, foghorns, and other signaling devices. No big deal if you're a heavy sleeper, I guess. When we visited, the pool was in the middle of a renovation. So you may want to call and check before booking your trip. The pool looked nice, and we are looking forward to trying it out in the near future. The restaurant was decent, and the hotel has its own bar / club, replete with karaoke. The room was average, with a view overlooking the harbor. Overall, this place is a great bargain. If you don't mind spending a few more bucks and having to drive to visit downtown, I recommend Las Rosas Hotel & Spa.
“Not impressed”

“Enjoyed my stay but not quite as advertised.”
The television was not the flat screen as advertised but a small antique with bad reception and they had no working remote controls. Could not get a Wifi connection from the room and I tried many times .Also the swimming pool was not filled with water. These items are not priorities but I was disappointed as they did promote these features on their website. The staff was friendly and professional and made us feel welcomed.
“WOW!!!!! TERRIBLE”
SERVICE IS OK BUT THE ROOM CONDITION IS SO TERRIBLE. IT IS LOOKS LIKE SOME OF MOUSE STAY IN THE ROOM AND TERRIBLE SMELL.
“Friendly staff but poor maintenance”
Stayed there for two nights, first night was ok but not enough parking spaces in the garage. However staff was very helpful finding us a parking spot outside.The second night we found bugs coming out of the drain under the sink in the washroom, and though the staff was always very kind and helpful, there was nothing they could do to solve this problem or give us another room, so we had to check out and find another hotel.
“CHECK IN WAS TILL 3PM, RECEPTIONIST WAS RUDE AND SLOW, BELLBOY WAS REALLY NICE”
WE HAD TO RUSH TO GET READY BECAUSE THEY LET US CHECK IN UNTIL 3PM AND WE HAD TO BE AT A CHURCH CEREMONY AT 4:30PM. RECEPTIONIST WAS SLOW, IT TOOK A LONG TIME TO CHECK IN. tHE BELL BOY WAS REALLY NICE, HE WAS REALLY FRIENDLY AND ALL MY FAMILY WAS HAPPY WITH THE WAY HE WORKED.
