"I stayed in an ocean-view room on the 8th floor and overall had a good experience.
On the way to my room, I noticed several broken patches in the laminate flooring throughout the hallway. It wasn't a deal breaker since it wasn't inside my room, but it was noticeable. Inside the room, the bathroom was clean, and the room was generally well maintained. However, there were some hair remnants around the outside of the bed, making it seem like the floor may not have been thoroughly swept or vacuumed.
The rooftop area was beautiful with amazing views, but several panels around the pool were broken or warped, creating a potential safety hazard. Parking was limited, but the staff always found room for us.
Breakfast was decent. We arrived about an hour before it ended, and they had already run out of eggs, which was surprising. The coffee was okay but could have been better. The views from the dining area were fantastic, and the overall design of the hotel was very well done.
The hotel is about a 20-minute drive from the main part of Ensenada. Since I had a car, getting around was easy. If you don't have a vehicle, Uber would likely be a convenient option.
Overall, I would stay here again. My only concern is that the property's condition doesn't quite meet the standard I typically expect from a Marriott-branded hotel. With some attention to maintenance and housekeeping details, it would be an excellent stay."
