“Nice place to stay”

The staff was very nice and the breakfast very good. The nut bread was so good we bought some on our way out of town. The location is easy to find and very convenient. Only draw back was that the mattress was VERY FIRM and the pillows needed replacing. We would stay there again.

“traveling through”

This is a fine place to stay on a trip through the UP. Didn't stay long but everythng was clean and a good (fairly inexensive) place to stay for the night... on the way to/from Mackinac or Picture Rocks

“Wonderful little place”

A wonderful little hotel, wonderful staff, I stayed at a well known 4 star hotel 2 nights after this and they paled in comparison, this hotel was clean, the shower was great, a little outdated, but clean still built well and the service was great, we were greated and shown to our rooms by a manager. Wonderfully happy, if ever in Escanaba again we will be staying here, it was a very nice place.

“A quick nights stay”

This motel is ok for a quick night traveling through stay. No frills but it was clean and accomadating. Would expect to pay a little less for what you get.

“Good value for a short stay on the road.”

We break up the trip from St. Paul to Boyne City, MI by stopping in Escanaba, about 7 hours into an 11 hour drive. The hotel is pet-friendly and did not charge extra for us to have our VERY well-behaved English Cocker Spaniel in the room. We got in late and left early so did not have the free breakfast. The room and bed were very comfortable and everything was clean.

Good value for the cost. Hotel maintenance a bit shabby - dripping tub faucet, worn hall carpet.
