“Great place to stay”

The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. The beds and pillows were very comfy. Plenty of parking. Next time I'm in town, I will stay here again.

“Escanaba Activities”

wonderful place to stay. I love the fact that there was NO smoking or pets. It gauls me when I know that pets have been sleeping in the bedm or the bedspread stinks of smoke. Icka. so the rooms smelled clean and were clean. It was a quiet place to stay. No tea in the rooms though, only coffee. The front desk clerks didn't offer to get any either when we asked. No towels available for swimmers either. the breakfasts were very nice, actually a buffet and the chef was very accommodating.

Good location. clean and convenient. We stay here whenever we are in the area.

“Can't go wrong”

Excellent location in the city. Loved the pool. Very clean and well kept. The air conditioner was noisy and the remote for the TV did not work properly. Other than that it was a very spacious room for the price.

“What a team in Best Western, Escanaba,Michigan”

I'd highly recommend people to stay in the hotel. The next day was the Sunday; & they got me the taxi to the airport & the bill is on the house. So you can imagine how grateful I was. Especially I was out of the cash & I'd assume that in Escanaba, Mi.; the taxi won't accept the payment in credit card. So this is is the big help for me. By the way, the restaurant in the hotel is very good. On that Saturday evening; I have enjoyed the food very much & everything is up to my expectation; I'd say that's the best meal I have had on that trip. So anyone by chance to visit the small town. Be sure to visit them. Nevertheless, they're close on every Sunday. Or I'd take the lunch in that restaurant as well. So in a small town , you can always expect something goods from the local people.

The next time I am in the area and need a place to stay, the Best Western, Escanaba will be my first choice

Convenient Bar in the basement.

“Best hotel in this little town.”

Nice Hotel, large layout with several sections (additions?). Needed to drive to get to our room. At least they have access doors on all sides so people do not have to walk far from their parking spot. Good sound proofing between sections as we could not hear the party going on in the next section 30 feet away. Large comfortable beds. Small pool area but good enough for the kids. Not much to watch on TV with only about 20 channels. Great restaurant, a little to upscale for the area.

“Good Hotel”

Good clean hotel. Great price for the room that had whirlpool and firplace.

“Service”

There were no pool towels at all when we went down to the pool. When I was in the restaurant area for the continental breakfast, the phone rang and a male staff member answered it. It was Mother's Day and the staff responded to the caller by saying they only had a 10:00 reservation available. Immediately after hanging up, the phone rang again and the male staff member said in an annoyed voice before answering it, "Are you kidding me?". He then answered the caller by talking about the 10:00 reservation. When he hung up the phone, another male staff member said to him, "If it rings again, don't answer it....a waitress can get it". I just thought this was inappropriate with myself and other diners within hearing range. Other than that, the breakfast itself was really good.
