“Beautiful Riad”
A beautiful Riad hidden away in the medina of Fes. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. hope to go back next visit to Fes.
“Beautiful Riad”
Beautiful place and great, friendly service.
“Great Location - Awesome in everyway”
I was a single woman travelling alone, this was super close to catch a cab and areas of the medina. Fabulous location all round. The staff where so nice and extremely accomodating, made me feel right at home. I'm a neat freak and it was nice to have a super clean room, bed and bathroom. The Riad it self was spotless, and I truly felt like I was in Morocco the decor was authentic. 100% safe which was important to me on this trip. The Moroccan Pancakes are what had me eager for breakfast time (delicious). I would definately stay here again and highly reccommend this Riad to anyone.
“Wonderful people, great location”
I stayed at this hotel in Aug 2010, when it was extremely hot in Morocco. Just like any other hotels in medina, this hotel is impossible to find on your own at first. Once you know the location, it is a great location to be since it is close to everything. Most reviews say 'call them so they can meet then escort you' but then as a traveler, it is extremely hard to call anyone in another country. The easiest way to find this hotel is to ask for "Batha Hotel" by the Blue Gate. Riad Myra is in a small alley right in front of Hotel Batha (which is very large). Just walk in, and it is right next to the Batha Museum (next door). There is a door with the Riad Myra sign on, but it is almost invisible. I rented the best suite, and it was very nice. Obviously, Riad is very different from 5 star hotel, so don't expect 5 star modern hotel. It is a 5 star riad. I was shocked to find out that I was the ONLY person in the whole building. Hmm. But I guess August is not a busy season since it's extremely hot. People were extremely friendly, and I loved the interior of the hotel. Very exotic and Moroccan.
“excellent personalized service”
Hospitable, personalized service excellent ambiance
“An elegant traditional Moroccan riad”
This beautiful riad was just what we were looking for. We had stayed in more American styled hotels in the other cities we stayed in but this had high level of authenticity and old world glamour. The staff was very helpful and courteous and the roms are beautiful and clean.
“Nice hotel”
Decided to spend a bit more on one night, and i don't regret it at all.. While we only booked a room, we got a suite which was very nice. Everything was clean and a lot of services were offered.. Location is good as it is close to Bab Boujloud... It was also very quiet compared to the ambiant noise outside... Only unpleasant surprise we had was to pay a 8,50 euro tax to pay at the end of our stay which wasn't included in the price... But still very satisfied!
“Relaxing”
This Riad/Hotel was better than I even expected. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing, very calm, escape from the rest of the medina (without losing the beautiful essence of Moroccan architecture). I loved the large bathroom with the large, clean bathtub. The only difficulty with this hotel was the lack of a consistent internet connection from inside the bedrooms. The courtyard always had a strong internet connection but I lost a connection too often from inside my room. Hopefully that will be addressed in the future.
“WONDERFUL PLACE, EVEN BETTER PEOPLE.”
Was at the Riad Myra in June 2009... This is stunningly beautiful place... The staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and all questions were answered (Fes is not an easy place to get used to but it is so very worth the experience!) ... Being greeted with mint tea and cookies was very nice and relaxing... Free internet a BIG plus... Location: Def need somebody to meet you to take you in but then you but once in it's not hard to find and you realize you are very close to the BLUE GATE and access to food, markets, an atm, and cabs to venture off if desired... The Riad was good at communication via email to set up a driver to pick us up at the train station (Worth the $18usd) and had a hotel rep come with the driver which was comforting. GREAT STAY.
“Fes, Nov 2010”
Excellent, great location - near medina and royal districts, close to restaurants. Service fantastic, a real oasis of calm in a fabulous - but hectic - city
