“great stay”
We were very pleased with this hotel. The staff was really helpful giving us information about the area and we especially enjoyed the variety of breakfast foods provided. The property is kept very clean and well maintained. We would definitely go back to this hotel the next time we're in this area.
“Pleasantly surprised.”
This hotel is very clean. We had both a double queen room and a king room and both were large. The rooms were updated. Hotel front desk clerks were attentive. Rooms remained quiet through the night, had the usual noise of other patrons in the morning and carts from housekeeping. I cannot say that there was anything wrong with this hotel. The way we entered the hotel we did not notice that we literally backed up to the I-40 Interstate, but as we were leaving the next morning we noticed, but there was absolutely NO noise from the interstate. We will stay there again anytime we visit Flagstaff! I would highly recommend this location.
“Good hotel at an affordable price”
The hotel was clean, comfortable room, swimming pool heated and clean, and the price was very good. Sure it's not a resort or a flashier hotel and chain, but our next favorite hotel in Flagstaff was $50 a night more expensive. For basically a room to sleep in and hang out a bit for 6 nights wasn't worth the $300 price for the difference for the other hotel. I've stayed here a couple times now and enjoyed my stay each time. It is also located right where you enter Flagstaff, near the NAU campus, and in a nice neighborhood. It is walking distance from several restaurants and accross the street from a grocery store and Wallmart and down the street from a movie theater.
“Loved this hotel and staff! Great room for a great price!”
I stayed in two hotels on this trip to AZ. Even though the other hotel cost three times as much, this one was by far the best! The two men at the desk were very courteous and helpful. The room was large, clean, quiet, and beds were comfortable. Bed and bath linens were soft and clean. The room had a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, iron, and everything we needed. The complimentary breakfast was very good and the hotel staff was right there to keep the tables clean and the food replenished. There is a nice WalMart right across the street from the hotel. We asked the girl at the desk for directions to the Grand Canyon, and she provided a map and route. It was a much better route than the one our GPS provided! I would stay at this hotel again anytime. We stayed on the second floor and did have to carry our luggage up because there is no elevator, but it was no problem. If you have a lot of luggage, book a room on the first floor.
“flagstaff”
great stay for the price. planning on staying there again when we go back next year.
“can't wait to go back”
very clean rrom would stay there again
“Quite a "nifty" and friendly place.”
Our room was tidy and real comfortable, and yes, my husband and I enjoyed the complimentary coffee available in the hotel lobby. It was also nice to get the breakfast served the next morning--a substantial one to say the least!
“Good hotel”
I gave a lower rating for hotel cleanliness (and hotel service) not because it was dirty, but because when we went into our room, they hadn't finished cleaning it. It was straighened up but not cleaned. When we called they said they were running behind and that they do the cleaning in stages. We went out for awhile and when we returned, it was cleaned.
“Good value near the college.”
This hotel is close to the college and a decent stay for the money. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly.
“ENJOYED OUR STAY”
We spent a night at the Ramada (20th March 2008)as part of our return leg to Las Vegas having been out to Utah and New Mexico. Easy to reach off the Interstate the hotel provided all that we needed in terms of comfort and cleanliness. The wireless internet connection worked fine. We were in one of the No Smoking rooms on the first floor (deck acces)at the back and enjoyed an undisturbed night. If you're worried about train noise in Flagstaff there are no problems here as the hotel is well away from the tracks! The complimentary breakfast was fine.
