“Thumbs up for Hotel Arizona in Florence, Italy”
The hotel staff were very accomodating and friendly. The hotel was very clean as well as the breakfast area in the morning. I would not hesitate to recommend to a friend or stay there again if I travel back to Florence. Very convenient to the airport as well.

A very good place to stay.Close to all the sites.Good staff,with a good command of English. I would recommend this place to anyone.
“Very good small hotel”
Friendly and helpful staff. Easy walking distance from the historic centre of Florence, but in a very quiet area with virtually no night-time traffic. The only minor drawback was the tiniest of rooms for the toilet/shower/washbasin (this in connection with a single room). I would certainly recommend the Arizona.
“Excellent hotel in a cool neighborhood.”
I got this hotel in a package air/hotel deal on Expedia, and frankly I could not have been happier. The hotel is right next door to the synagogue, and is right in the middle of the cool/student/artist neighborhood. There is a market 2 blocks away where locals shop for food. The REALLY cool restaurants and bars are all a similar distance. No tourist traps here. The rooms were big and had wonderful frescoes painted on the ceiling. Bathroom was small, but the fixtures were new and clean. The AC worked great (I was there in July). The breakfast was basic but had all the essentials, and the staff was always friendly and ready to help. Please stay here and keep this place in business. I'll be back next time I am in Firenze!
“better than we thought”
Was hard to get to. we had a rental car and ended up drive thru the downtown area... you have to tell the front desk if you do that so they can clear your ticket!!! There are cameras in the square that take pictures and issue a ticket. We loved the location. Internet center, good food, laudry matjust down the street and easy walking to get anywhere. Would definitely recommend this hotel
“Basic, but Nice”
Stayed 7 nights. Room was small (as expected), and the bathroom was tiny. However, the room was clean, and the breakfast good. Very basic, but recommended. Helpful staff. Couldn't ask for more in basic hotel.
“Good Hotel for singles and families”
We stayed at the hotel for two nights, the hotel was comfortable, the room was quite big to say that four of us shared a room. There was a good variety of food at breakfast. The staff were very helpful with information about the area. The hotel was about 15 minutes walk from the centre. I would recommend a stay.
“Very impressed”
This is a great hotel in a good location in Florence and I would definitely recommend it. Compared to other 3 star hotels in Italy the Arizona Hotel exceeded my expectations of room comfort and cleanliness. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfasts were the standard European breakfast and the bathroom was small but as expected. A great place to stay close to shops, restaurants and attractions.

“Great value for money”
In excellent position for visiting the city. Close without being expensive. Staff helpful friendly without being overpowering. Breakfast better than expected. Comfortable rooms, clean and quiet area without traffic noise. Trattoria Alfredo near the Bargello good meals good value. Local Trattoria in Borgo Pinto worth visit good wholesome Tuscan meals.
