Modernized in 2005, this central Florence hotel is housed in Palazzo Borghese, between the Bargello Museum and Duomo Square. The palazzo was once the home of Napoleon's sister, Paolina Bonaparte Borghese. True to its name, Borghese Palace Art Hotel displays an impressive collection of contemporary sculpture and paintings.
Guests can start the day with a breakfast buffet (surcharge). The hotel also offers a lounge, fitness room, sauna, spa tub, and spa services. A third-floor terrace provides views of Piazzale Michelangelo and Il Duomo.

Borghese Palace Art Hotel offers 25 air-conditioned guestrooms with contemporary decor. “Excellent accomodation”
The superior double room was spacious for two adults and one toddler. The hotel decor was modern which suited our taste. The entire hotel staff were very friendly and courteous The concierge on duty the night we checked-in recommended an excellent restaurant and even made the reservation for us. This hotel is defintely made on our top list for places to stay in Tuscany.

“Beautiful Little Hotel in Excellent Location”
Hotel location was ideal for visiting main sights and shopping areas on foot. Hotel decor was contemporary and stunning but still maintained character of old building. Room was tastefully decorated and had all necessary facilities but would have been too small for double use (although this was apparently the type of room I had). Breakfast service was professional but not overly friendly whereas front desk staff were particularly friendly and helpful and made bookings for me without any problems. If I ever go back to Florence, I would try to stay here again.
“Fantastic hotel”
Myself and my husband stayed here for 4 nights 30th May to 2nd June. It was a superb hotel. The location was fantastic and within minutes you were in the center of the action! Can recommend this hotel as being very clean, nicely furnished and friendly staff. Breakfast is very good too. The roof terrace is a nice place to sit with a drink after your day out trekking around Florence!
“Very nice location and good service”
I was there with my family for 3 nights and we didn't have any problem what so ever with the hotel. Everything was great and highly recommend. The breakfast was great and have good restaurant close by for lunch and dinner. The other good part was "City Sighseeing tour" bus stop is on the same street so it was nice to hop on from the hotel in morning and hop off back to hotel.
“Highly recommend - great value”
This hotel is only in its second year of operation. The room was spacious, functional and very clean. At the Expedia price, it was a great value. Its location is only a short walk from all the main points of interest. The included breakfast was very good and provided a selection rarely seen in Europe.

“A great place to stay in Florence!”
This hotel is very well situated in terms of being 'right in the middle of things' in Florence and the area is generally quiet and peaceful. It is beautifully decorated and has, itself, an air of peaceful calm and well-ordered, well-experienced efficiency. My room was very clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated and had air-conditioning! (a huge advantage during a very hot and humid few days in May!). The staff were ALL really pleasant, kind, attentive and respectful - providing their service with extreme efficiency and a gentle interest and concern without being intrusive in any way. The breakfast was lovely, with plenty of choice offered in a really pretty dining room. I shall definitely book in again when next in Florence and would unreservedly recommend the Borghese Palace Art Hotel to anyone wanting a genteel stay in wonderful Florence!

Good location with fairly close access to main areas. Beautifully appointed. Ultra modern rooms and decor. Small size added to comfort. Best breakfast. Lovely terrace for quiet reflection. Would highly recommend.
