“Good place to stay.”
We were in town for high school playoff game and UNA preview day. THe staff was very friendly. The location was easy to find. We would use this hotel again.
“EXCELLENT CHOICE!”
My college-age kids and I had a fabulous stay at the Hampton Suites in Florence, AL. The hotel was beautiful, the suite was quite large, plush and immaculately clean, and the staff was very accommodating. I was surprised at the comfort of the beds (even the sofa bed). The towels and sheets were soft and fragrant. The lay-out of the suite with the desk, sofa, over-stuffed chair, and kitchen area was spacious and home-y. My family is extremely allergic to cigarette smoke; fortunately there were no lingering smoke odors anywhere. The a/c unit, which was controlled by a wall thermostat and frequently turned on and off, woke me up throughout the night because I am a light sleeper. However, it didn't bother anyone else. Overall, I would say this is the place you need to stay when in the area. It was less costly to sleep my group of 4 (holds up to 6) in this room and be very comfortable than to get 2 rooms of lesser quality. Also, the breakfast bar offered many choices and was situated in a lovely dining area. The hotel was conveniently located near the highway and in a very safe area. I heartily recommend this hotel.
“Very clean, updated hotel”
Very nice hotel for the price - good location - friendly staff - the one bedroom suite is very impressive.
“Great service experience”
The staff person at the front desk was very courteous and helpful. In fact, every member of the staff we interacted with went out of the way to be helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. We would definitely return to this hotel in the future, assuming we have reason to visit Florence again.
“First time in Alabama”
We only stayed one night as we were on our way from Arkansas to Georgia but wouls happily have stayed longer. The hotel was a short walk from the marina and the downtown areas in a very quiet area - much nicer than being on the mid-town strip of hotels and shops. The service was prompt, friendly and very efficient. We would definitely stay again
“Downtown gem”
Especially like their use of ecoproducts for breakfast. Beautiful downtown.
“good location and helpful staff”
The hotel and staff was just fine. The only complaint is that they should have made scrambled eggs from real eggs. If your taking the time to make something to be considered eggs.. why not just use the real thing. Coffee was good. The beds were made for comfort.. but down pillows not offer much support. Overall room was fine but beds not as comfortable as expected.
