“Great hotel, watch out for surprise taxes”
Hotel was great, but Florence will hit you with a surprise 10 euro per night tax that is not included in the Expedia price.
“Impeccable service and comfort”
We stayed here for 8 nights after my sister recommended Hotel Regency; actually, two of my sisters stayed here at different times in the last two years. The level of service, quality of food and comfort of room accommodations was outstanding. The location is near several central sights (e.g., Duomo, Santa Croce) and a 20-minute walk (or longer) from others (e.g., Santa Maria Novella, Uffizi). Regardless, the staff is attentive and able to answer questions, provide tour opportunities, recommend restaurants, etc., to your satisfaction. I would not hesitate to recommend this place.

“A pampeering experience”
What a marvelous experience at Hotel Regency during our recent March, 2021 stay. A residential area, slightly removed from tourist mania of Florence, but easily walkable to all major sites in the city. This hotel offers quiet, dignified rooms. All ammenities are of the highest quality, staff is very helpful, antiques are real, and the smallest details provide the feeling of a house away from home. Upon our early morning departure staff had prepared hot coffee, cookies, and bottled water as a send off at 4:50am, just as you expect from your mother. My husband was provided with a laptop computer in our room. Where can you find a hotel that has hangers that are not attached to the rack, still uses keys, has sparkling set of bath towels, and luxurious linens changed every day? Enjoy this hotel as we did. We crealy liked the Hotel. The localization is excellent and the concierge is very good gving goods information of the city.
“Fantastic restaurant”
I booked Hotel Regency as a surprise birthday present for my husband. From the moment that we walked through the door we were made to feel as though we were the most important people there. The meal in the restaurant was superb, the attention from the waiters was spot on without being intrusive. Our room was very comfortable, everything was there that we could possibly have needed. We had a fantastic stay. Thank you Hotel Regency. We are already talking about when to return.
“Excellent hotel!”
This hotel is great! It's pretty expensive, but you know what you paid for. It's located a little away from the busy areas of the city, but still within walking distance from them, facing a small park. Service and staff are amazing. The only complaint: the consierge should have advised us about booking the Uffizi tour WELL in advance.
“A luxurious stay”
I spent three wonderful nights at the Hotel Regency during my recent visit to Florence. The staff were very attentive to my needs. Upon check in I was provided with a map of the city along with directions to the various museums. The service far exceeded my expectations. I strongly recommend having dinner in the garden. It is a little expensive but worth it.

The hotel wasn't really like a hotel at all but a friends beautiful ,private mansion. The staff were so gracious and attentive you felt as though they were your own staff. The hotel is situated far enough from the maddening crowd in a lovely residetial area, but close to everything. I have not one negative thought about my stay. CM
