“Florence trip 2007”
The Hotel was fab. Staff were very helpful and professional. The hotel was in a great location and rooms were just lovely. Would definetly stay there again and recommend it to anyone. Stella
“Would stay there again”
We were extremely pleased with the location, the size of the room and bathroom and overall hotel accomodations. The A/C was great in late July. The shower was marvalous with side jets. The complimentary full breakfast was very good and overall the staff was very pleasant and helpful. Most spoke English fairly well. It was close enough that we walked to most of the cites in downtown.
“Best hotel on our trip”
We loved the San Gallo Palace. A bit off the beaten track but that was ok as we needed the exercise after eating our way through Rome and Florence! Extremely clean with a wonderful bathroom. The hotel staff recommended several excellent restaurants nearby too so after a long day of sightseeing and shopping, we didn't have to go far to enjoy wonderful dinners.Would definitely stay there again.
“A wonderful little hotel”
This hotel is set a little way out of the centre of the historic district but it is well worth the extra walk. The rooms are well-appointed and beautifully furnished. The staff are polite and very helpful. This hotel is a excellent value for money.

“Lovely hotel”
The san Gallo Palace was very clean and the rooms were modern and well decorated. The breakfast was included and was excellent. I would stay here again and would recomend it.
“Impressed!”
Stayed at this hotel for two nights - and enjoyed every night - wish we had stayed longer. When we first checked in - we got an average room - even though we had booked a superior one. After letting them know - i think they moved us into a Suit - as we had a massage bath and a Very cute little garden area to ourselves... The only downfall to this hotel is the food. I would recommend that you dont order lunch or dinner... breakfast was great and included. We had a gorgeous room - comfortable and very clean. Helpful staff - we would defo go back here again!
“A Nice Place to Stay”
I was recently in Italy on business and flew over a bit early for some vacation time. I stayed at this hotel during the vacation part of our trip and overall was very satisfied. The room was clean, the bathroom was very nice (there were 5 shower heads in the shower!) and the staff was extrememly helpful. Our biggest issue was that it was hot while we were there and the air conditioning was not being activated until the day after we left (bad timing on our part). The other thing to know is this hotel is not in the heart of Florence. We could walk to the Duomo and other things in that area, but it took a good 20 minutes to get there. Also, it requires a cab ride from the train station. Given the rate we got on the room I would be stay there again - just be ready for a bit of walking.
“Great Hotel”
To start, the hotel is beautifull, and the rooms are big, also our room had a great terrace a very nice bathroom, everything was neatly clean. The Hot Breakfast was awesome. too I will definetely go back to this hotel.
