“Positively an adventure from the routine.”

When we first entered the room I thought it to be going back in time. There is nothing fancy about it. We had a kitchette in ours. The pots were scratched. I went to the office and right away was given a set of cookware. I had trouble with phone an TV. The very next day that was resolved. I really wanted to catch some fish. The young woman at the desk told me of a secret fishing spot on the side of the road. I caught 14 mangrove snapper each a pound, 7 in 15 minutes one day and 7 keepers in 4 hours on the next. Great fish fry with neighbor guests that night. Fish cleaning station and heated pool a plus. Bring bake ware and cookie sheet for steak fries, air popcorn maker ,salt,pepper,butter,wheat flou&cornmeal for fish breading; eggs/oil/bread or cearl/milk for breakfeast.many things to do kayacing,snorkeling,hikking,shopping,fishng Enjoy my friend enjoy...Each Key has it own personaity. write a daily journal of your discoveries. Example: Kermits Keylime pie Store in Key West has a seculed area with water spilling into a pond of Japanesse Fish/very relaxing.

“Great motel!”

The motel is not new; however, it was clean, spacious, the bed was comfortable, there was a kitchen with fridge, microwave, oven, coffee maker, etc. The location was on a slip with boats and a beautiful view. The swimming pool was well kept and very inviting. I would greatly recommend this motel, if one does not have to have "the best!" The price was right for me. It was a great motel, and I was pleased to have found it on Expedia!

“Clean, Affordable Motel on Marathon Key”

This isn't the Waldorf Astoria...It is a reasonably priced motel for the Florida Keys. Not fancy but extremely clean. Swimming Pool was clean and well maintained and they have a 4 or 5 slip dock out back, so if you are boating, fishing or diving in Marathon you can access this motel by boat. As pointed out by someone previously...yes, there are coconut palms in the parking lot. Don't park under them and you'll be fine. We were in town for a couple days if scuba diving, and the Kingsail was perfect. Tilden's Dive Center is 1 mile south (also highly reccomended) Will stay here again next year.

“Kingsail in the Keys”

Vintage Keys motel in the heat of the Keys. This is a no frills place that makes a great base to explore from. An hour + from Key West right at 7 Mile Bridge...

“Would stay here again.”

Lots of room and very clean. The bathroom is very small and could use some shelving to put things on. Not the ritz, but for the money it was great! I would stay here again.

“Very pleased”

We were fortunate to get a newly renovated suite. It was very clean and comfortable. The 2 rooms were large with a large walkin closet. The pool was warm and clean. We were disappointed that there was not a range to cook on as we had expected. However, there really was no mention of one. There was a small fridge and microwave. As other reviews have said, the bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen but clean and functional. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and definitely will be back.

“Great hotel, location, and price”

I loved the location of this hotel. It was not too far from Key West nor was it far from Miami. It also wasn't far from local restaurants and shops to get groceries. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and was overall a great stay. Definitely worth the money! The pool was clean and I loved that we were near the local beaches. Definitely recommending this hotel and I will come back during my next visit. A plus was also having free wifi in the room!
