Located within six miles of Bank Atlantic Center and Sawgrass Mills Outlet Mall, Hyatt Place Ft. Lauderdale/Plantation has dropped the traditional lobby and front desk in favor of a contemporary open area called the Gallery. The Gallery offers a check-in kiosk and the expertise of a 24-hour host who is available to help with check-in, guest tours, and even food preparation.
The Gallery area houses the Bakery Café, which includes a coffee and wine bar and a 24-hour touch-screen kiosk for ordering freshly prepared hot and cold items; guests pay by swiping either room key or credit card. A self-help case of baked goods, salads, sandwiches, and drinks is also available 24 hours; a complimentary Continental breakfast with Starbucks coffee is served each morning.
The Gallery also features a TV room with seating for four, as well as an "e-room," which offers complimentary use of a computer with high-speed Internet access and a printer. Hotel-wide wireless Internet access is complimentary.
Rooms
All guestrooms at Hyatt Place Ft. Lauderdale/Plantation feature Hyatt's signature Grand Bed: Sealy Posturepedic mattress; 250-thread-count triple sheeting; down blankets; double down-surround pillows. Separated from the bed by a partial wall, the sitting area provides a queen sofa bed and desk.
A 42-inch, flat-panel, high-definition TV allows guests to plug in laptops, MP3 players, and DVD players. Satellite channels include 11 channels of high-definition programming and SportsNet. Both wireless and wired high-speed Internet access are complimentary; one of the two telephones is cordless.
Refrigerators, coffeemakers, and wet bars are included. Bathrooms provide granite countertops and Portico white-ginger scented bath amenities.

“Lovely hotel”
Beautiful, clean hotel. Quiet, tucked away from the main road but still close to all the amenities. The lovely girl at the front desk (Tricia) was amazingly friendly at check-in (we got in LATE) and all the staff we encountered were polite and helpful. Superb customer service! The room itself was great - felt like a mini suite. My husband and I were there for a 3 day weekend shopping trip and felt very comfortable and cozy. Separate little living-type area with a couch, nice big flat screen TV. Our room was right next to the elevator on the 4th floor and we never heard a thing, no troubles at all. I was 7 months pregnant on this trip too so comfort was a huge concern for us and everything went smoothly. The room even had a sink and fridge which was great. (a microwave would have been a bonus but I can't complain) Also there was a breakfast buffet in the morning serving the basics of bagels, fresh fruit salad, cereals, etc. Even the cleaning staff was incredibly polite and our room was cleaned every day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning with our kids this Fall!
“wonderful stay”
We went to the Miami area to go to a Dolphin/Jet game. Used Expedia to find a hotel for 2 nights. The room setup is great. The separate sitting area is a real plus. Great TV. Biggest surprise was the comfort of the bed and pillows. They were so comfortable, I would like to purchase the same for my home. We went out to eat, so didn't try breakfast.

Excellent service, great location. The hotel was much better than we expected and had read and seen in the web site. The rooms are very comfortable, we were 2 adults and 1 6 year old I have already recommended to my friends and family and plan on going back in the future.

The staff was very friendly and courteous. Check-in was timely and efficent. The buffet breakfast was superb. The room was spacious and clean. Nice layout. Overall, a value for the price!

The 4-day stay was outstanding! The hotel is located adjacent to the beach & shopping/restaurants are within walking distance.
“If you go to Sawgrass Mills this is an excellent option”
This is a confortable, safe and super clean hotel, the room was perfect for us, we were 4 people and we have 2 queen size beds and a sofa bed, the shower was really good. I loved the decoration and the colors, everybody was super nice and the personel were bilingual. I recommend this hotel to all of those who want to go to Sawgrass Mills or just to go arround, it is very good option. My friends came down from Cancun and all of us work in hospitality so this hotel was very good according to our expectations and experience.

Very good clean hotel! The rooms are very big and a lot of space for your things. Big plasma TV! The only that i didn't like was the breakfast, not a lot of places to eat and not a lot of choices of meals.
