“Vacation review”

Good place to stay if your OK with being off the beach and trying to go cheap. Pool is not the cleanliest but it is what you pay for

Well, aah, for the price paid it was acceptable for me and the location to event I was attending was very good. My GPS had an issue with finding the hotel.......street may have changed. Room appeared unclean because of the old carpet and furnishings. Sink had a huge crack in it. No door seal on the bottom of the door which left a one-inch space under the door. Breakfast was acceptable. To be candid, this was the first time I've stayed in a Day's Inn in 5 plus years. I remember them in a much better condition. But for the price it was okay for me. My wife would have never stayed the night.

It's a cheap little flea bag but gave us a place to chill our beer and wash the fish slime off.

Room wasn't very clean. Appliances such as ironing board, and coffee maker did not work or were broken. Customer service was very poor. I had reported that the outside stairwell had smelled like urine, and asked the service desk if they could send someone to clean the area. They never sent anyone..... Not worth the expense, you can find another hotel for the same cost that is cleaner, and provides better service to it's customers.

My friends and I were very disastified with the overall stay at the this hotel. The customer service was not up to par. Once in our first room at the hotel, the toilet was constantly running and the shower curtain was not in place. Which made water water leak all over the floor. We talked to the front desk and were given another room. At first glance the room looked okay so we placed our things and left for dinner. Once back in our hotel room we started to notice all kinds of surprises. There was packaged squid and used water bottles in the refrigerator, used q-tips in a drawer, the previous guests soap in the shower along with dirt. The room was obviously not cleaned at all. One of the beds was not even done up correctly which led us to believe the bed sheets had not been changed. We went to the local wal-mart and bought sleeping bags that we used to sleep in on top of the sheets each night. We complained to the front desk about the cleanliness of the room and were told by the front desk, "let this be a lesson learned, you should check out your rooms from now on when staying in hotels." We were given yet another room, which was actually clean. The only good thing that happened during our stay was a decrease in our room rate that we were not aware of until checking out. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Asked for Ft. walton Beach, FL. Was placed 16 miles away. Too far to travel.

“stay away from this joint”

First of all, I called three times prior to arrival to let them know I would be late. They put me on hold for over 5 minutes each time. When I asked about it at check in, they said nothing - in part because the guy at the desk didn't speak much English. Then, they did not have the correct accommodation available on my confirmation so they "upgraded" us (in a Days Inn???) to a junior suite that looked like a hodge podge of junk they had put into a room including an orange extension cord that was frayed. When I turned back the sheets, there was black hair on them - they had not been changed. They offered to give us clean sheets to change them ourselves! We declined, so they gave us another "standard" room that was better but I still felt as though I needed to wear my shoes all the time. The bathroom was peeling and the floor was dirty. Stay away from this joint!
