“great place to stay”
We were only able to stay a couple of days, but enjoyed every minute. The day we arrived (Friday) traffic was very hetic in the parking lot, but every other time going in and out was easy. Bar and grill was right by the door in and out of our room; food smelled wonderful, cigarette smoke not so. Really nice pools; but no view of gulf from pool due to huge sand dune. Up and down steps to get to beach; but beach was beautiful.
“Hard to Beat”
We had a good rate for this hotel considering it was right on the beach and a good quality hotel. The staff was very friendly and courteous. They called about an hour after we checked in to make sure all was well with the room, and each time I needed the front desk, the staff was very kind and helpful. The beautiful "sugar sand" of the area was directly adjacent to the hotel with complementary beach chairs and umbrella. Hotel was very close to the Gulfarium, Ft Walton eateries, and a short, but beautiful drive to the Destin shopping and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel and our stay in the area.

All the staff are friendly and speak to you. The rooms are clean it is great place to stay you will love it. Right on the beach. I had a great time.

Everything was so easy...from check in to check out. Room was very clean and very comfortable. The beds are a little too firm for me, but other than that, we had such a great time. Perfect location too. Close to anything and everything that you would want to do. We are already planning a return trip.

“I'm Opinionated and Tell THE TRUTH!!!!!”
This is an honest review from an opinionated person. The hotel was very, very clean. LOTS of Towels (that was a plus). Sheets were super white and fresh smelling. Pools were extremely clean. My 7 year old loved the Rock Slide by the pool. Free DVD's were a plus. High Speed Internet was GREAT!!! BEST ADVICE: Pay the Extra for the Gulf Front View if you don't live around the beach. It makes your trip MUCH more memorable and you will enjoy it more being able to see the ocean from your balcony, and it is only a few more dollars. The staff is a perfect example of "SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY" I will stay at Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort again.

The hotel was clean the staff was very pleasant. I would definitely go back to this hotel. They had lots of activities for the children plus free DVD rentals.
