“Peaceful beach vacation”
We were pleasantly surprised by this peaceful get away.
“Didn't want to leave!”
After reading many mixed reviews, we were nervous about this place and went with very low expectations. Thankfully, we were pleasantly surprised. The check-in process went smoothly (we already knew about the $15/night/person room tax), our room was clean and nice, the housekeepers stopped every day to check our supplies, we always had a chair on the beach (but you really do need to bring your own towels), the selection of activities was excellent, and they were not at all pushy about buying a timeshare. The food at Coconuts was good and not over-priced and everyone there was very friendly. The weather was amazing and the island is beautiful. We got exactly what we paid for, and more!
“want to go back”
great room friendly people. nice resort
“Great Deal”
Before I book this hotel i read some review by others. People really did write a great reviews. Beautiful location, big room with full kitchen, dining and living space, also it had two tvs. the negative: it's not updated. the location of the hotel is great and there is a free transportation to the town. we had great time at the beach that was so close to our room... I recommend this place and will book it again if i ever go back to free port.
“I would defiantly go back to this hotel”
The people there was very nice and helpful in what we needed. Our room was real nice, it felt like home away from home.
“It;s a beautiful beach”
The condo's are located on a beautiful quiet beach. The food at the restaurant was reasonably priced and good. Service was a little slow but the staff is very friendly. The only negative comment is that it is far away from everything. They do offer a shuttle service but it stops late afternoon. After that you need to take a cab everywhere.
“Great value”
Great experience
“quiet family getaway spot”
I loved the hotel and the fact that is quiet and family oriented. Hotel provides a very convenient hourly shuttle to Port Lucaya, where all the restaurants and large hotels are located. Very economical hotel because the units come with a full kitchen to prepare meals in with a large dining and living room. Couldn't have been better. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Had absolutely no problem with the staff. Pool and hot tub were great. Restaurant was pricey and lacked ambience but we never intended to eat there anyway. Bar was great; bartenders very friendly. Not for those looking for nightlife or glitz....just a quiet restful spot in the bahamas away from crowds and noise. Wonderful spot.My second visit. Not a lot of activity for those restless types...just sun warmth, water sports and relaxation.
“BEST VACATION EVER!!!!!”
If you are looking for fun in the sun, with a relaxing environment this is the place. It is a great place for adults and kids. I took my mom and 9 year old daughter we enjoyed it sooooo much. The staff is GREAT, there are lots of activities to do. The rooms are really nice and super spacious. If you like a home away from home atmosphere, you'd love it here. Don't expect room service and five star food at the resort, but you don't get that at home either. Remember home away from home. It is a very comfortable relaxed environment. The Beach is awesome and so are the resort grounds. I'd go there again and again. I didn't even leave the resort for the first three days, it was so relaxing!!
“Can't wait to go back, hopefully the same room. very enjoyable.”
I was on the marina with a view of the water, which was very good and mind soothing. The rooms are big enough and had everything that you need.
