Very nice clean and cozy hotel in the center of Fukuoka where everything is close by or walking distance, couldn't ask for more.

“Excellent, Highly Recommended”

The hotel is located just down the road from Hakata train station which is main station for Fukuoka if arriving via shinkansen or bus services. Hakata station has a wide range of shops and eateries, including a huge electronics superstore "Yodabashi camera". Walk from hotel to the train station is 5 minutes. Outside the hotel directly across the road is a 24hr connivence store, Also there is a 24hr car park just beside the hotel block, overnight parking cost is approx. yen 1200. I can highly recommend this hotel... really nice for the price.

“Best business hotel I've stayed in Japan.”

There are leisure hotels and business hotels. They belong in separate categories, so you should not compare them against each other. The B Hakata is a business hotel. I've stayed in three such hotels in Japan, and this is the best one. What I liked: + The rooms are clean, quite, comfortable, and new. + Excellent location, very close to the main RR station and metro station, with many shops nearby. + Friendly multi-lingual staff. + Breakfast buffet available. + Washer and drier on the 2nd floor, great cheap way to wash clothes for on the go travelers. What I didn't care for: - Small rooms (but that is to be expected from business hotels in Japan.) - Not well know among taxi drivers. (It would be very helpful if Expedia would show the hotel names and addresses in the local language) - No all English (or other foreign language) channel on the TV. - The bed was a little firm for my personal preference.

“Meet our needs”

We stayed in Hakata for one night before taking the ferry to South Korea. The b Hakata is located near the train station, which also has ready access to buses to the International Ferry Terminal. The room was small, which we are accustomed to in Japan but the window looked out to the wall of an adjoining building, which was OK for one night.

Great Price for Fukuoka! Will stay here again. Close to the train station which will get you every where in the city!

“Good value and good business hotel.”

The hotel is very clean and well-equiped. Bed is a little small, but it's kind of japanese standard. It's a good deal with it's price. Not too far from the metro station. If Business traveler or deal seeker. Strongly recommanded.

“Couple traveling with baby”

The hotels around 5 minutes walk to Hakata station. There's lots of buses that run along the same road as the hotel. There's a family mart & lawson (equivalent to 7/11) just around the corner. If you are traveling with a baby and need room for all the essentials traveling with a baby, don't go for a standard double (there won't be any room for you to move around). Its convenient and you won't find it noisy.

“Comfortable stay at a good deal”

The B Hakata is around 15 minutes away on foot from Hakata Station, where Amu Plaza, a shopping mall, and Hankyu Department Store are also located. Japan's business hotels generally have exceptionally small rooms compared to those in other countries, but the room in the B Hakata seemed to be a bit larger. It was very clean, the staff are kind, and free high speed internet is provided in the room. It was a pity that I could not accees free wi-fi, but I could use free wi-fi at Tokyu Hands, a shopping mall located at Hakata Station. Expedia gave me a very satisfactory deal on this hotel. I would choose this hotel on my next visit to Fukuoka.

“Great boutique hotel in excellent location.”

This hotel is in a very convenient location and we could walk to all the attractions, food and shops easily. The room is very clean and comfortable with an excellent bathroom. The B Hakata is great value for the price.
