They were really helpful with details and directions to the park and the falls. Also very welcoming to our dog.

I had a great experience here - the service staff including the front desk were very helpful, and helped to make our 3 day stay quite enjoyable. Our kids loved the indoor pool!

Three of us spent the night at Super 8 in Dawsonville. Had good beds (a plus for any hotel), a clean room, and good service from the front desk. My only suggestion would be that they have someone at the hotel who would be willing to recommend restaurants in the area, rather than just handing out a list of places.

Hotel is wonderfully located next to outlet mall. Hotel is clean and staff is very friendly. Our room had a very strong sweet smell when we were there which was a little distracting and annoying. However, the price was good and we were only there one night.

This hotel is perfectly fine for a staging ground for a trip to the mountains, which is why we chose it. I do not remember it being clear in the hotel info that it is not really in Dawsonville but in a big commercial area outlying (several miles away). That is probably great for race fans. I didn't care either but it made it confusing to try to get around when I arrived after dark. Family members said the pool was not as clean as it might be. Generally, however, we thought the place was a good value. I wouldn't hesitate to come back

Its located near everything so you could basically walk to anything food shopping movies overall pretty nice place

I had to attend an academic conference in a near-by college. This hotel was a solid/basic place to stay. Nothing overly fancy, but it got the job done. It was also located near several groceries, gas stations, restaurants, and a movie theater. So, not a bad location for the area.

“About what I expected”

When I checked in, the lady at the desk was nice and very helpful. She helped me get my luggage upstairs, because they have two floors and no elevator. She told me that the continental breakfast was from 8 to 10 AM the next morning, but when I arrived there was no breakfast and the cleaning ladies pointed to a sign that said breakfast was from 8AM to 9AM only. So I was unable to get anything to eat except from the vending machines. My room had a king sized bed with an innerspring mattress. The furniture was mostly made of laminate that that had seen better days. There was a microfridge and microwave oven that were held together with a piece of metal. The fridge was rusty at the bottom, but both appeared to be clean and in working condition. There was a coffee maker and coffee in the bathroom but I didn't try them. The bathroom was reasonably clean, but the toilet ran after it was flushed and I had to open the back and adjust the flapper to get it to stop. I told the lady at the desk when I checked out, and she said they would fix it. Sitting on the bed, it was clear that the floor had been vacuumed but the cleaning staff didn't clean all the way to the wall, so the edge of the carpet was dusty. The air conditioning unit worked properly. I didn't try the TV. The bed was decent but had a strong odor of men's cologne that I found unappealing. However I was able to get some sleep and got the room for a reasonable price, so my ultimate needs were met.
