“MD”
Overall great deal for price. Nice place to stay if you plan on enjoying the area. Not ideal for the person who is planning on staying in room all day. Simple place with excellent staff.
“enjoyed my stay!”
Close to the convention center, close to the beach. Clean, accommodating staff members, continental breakfast was good; Internet and tv worked fine too :) Would be happy to return again. :)
“Great Value and Much More Than Expected”
One block from beach but we went for overnight stay before cruise. Large well appointed room with full size table and chairs. Good size refrig, small coffeemaker and a microwave, nice shower curtain with the extended curve to keep it from being sucked into the tub. Continental breakfast was fine- breakfast room was small but you can bring it back to you room if you wish. Staff was competent and friendly, we were given the name of a good restautant right down the street that was wonderful as weel. Parking was great and very conveniently located next to shopping center with grocery, drug store and some other restaurants.
“Great find on the Island”
I wasn't sure if this was a good choice in lodging,but I was pleasantly surprised.I have stayed in Galveston many times ,now I have found my new go to place.The property sits just a block from the beach and close to several resturants and fast food places.Also close to a Randalls Supermarket for those quick snacks or forgotten items.The room was well maintained.The beds were very comfy.I will return here often.

The place was very clean and well kept. We stayed a week and really enjoyed our stay! The staff was very nice and helpful. it was a great relaxing vacation. Even the other guests were friendly and respectful. We recommend this place!!!!
“Value for your money!”
Reading the reviews of past guest experiences, I wasn't expecting much of the Beachcomber Inn. However, it only goes to prove to each his own. We were pleased with this simple, no frills hotel. The front desk staff were professional, polite, and very accomodating. The 3 rooms we had were clean and everything in working order. Having a mini fridge and microwave in the rooms was a bonus. Especially appreciated being able to leave our cars while on our cruise. The continental breakfast is not much but there is a McDonald's across the street and a grocery store within walking distance. I recommend this hotel to someone who just wants a clean room for an unbeatable price...
“Good Location”
It was located in a very good location. Close to the Seawall and minutes from 45.
“Would stay there again!”
Breakfast wasn't fancy but it was good. Bagels, toast, juices, danishes, cereal, fruit and oatmeal. The pool is small but wasn't crowded at all, we enjoyed it. The rooms were nice, the only thing that didn't work was the blow dryer but who needs that at the beach. The maids cleaned our room each day we were there. Staff is friendly. Definintely would stay there again!

Within walking distance (one half block) of the beach and other dining and shopping options in Galveston. Requests made to front desk were handled very quickly.
