“One of the best in Galveston”

Can see the beach from every room. Nice indoor pool. Nice restaurants are near by.

“Very nice hotel”

You can't beat the price, location and comfort of this hotel. Of course, it is not the fanciest, but it was very nice. The front desk was pretty short handed and probably could have used another employee on duty, but that would have to be my only complaint, and I am stretching for that one.

“great location on the sea wall”

Clean room, king bed, but A/C unit had a scorched plug and looked like it had shorted out. We asked for another room, whcih they immediately gave us (and called maintenance to repair the A/C unit. Unfortunately, they didn't have another room with a king bed, but it worked out. Rooms were very clean. We would go back.

“This hotel is ok”

We stayed there the night before our cruise. It was nice for a one night stay, but I wouldn't stay there for a vacation in Galveston. The room was really big and the balcony was nice. Unfortunately, we had to take a cold shower because there was no hot water! The staff was nice to us, but they were rude to others that were standing in line to check-in.

Wonderful continental breakfast, with belgium waffles included. Very quiet and clean. We were very happy. Every request was honored with a smile. The access to site on the Island from the hotel were all within walking distance or ease. You could not get lost. easy

About what you would expect from a Comfort Inn. Nothing special, but clean and comfortable.

“Great for what you pay”

I went to Galveston to compete on the 70.3 Ironman and I wanted a close to the race hotel that included almost everything and wasn't that expensive. It was a great location for the race and the days after, the complementary breakfast was great, had free parking, fee internet, free local calls, pool and fitness room. The only thing was the rooms weren't as cleaned as they could be everywhere and they are outdated.

“Rude Staff and Dirty Hotel”

Staff was rude and the elevators did not work properly.

“Probably wouldn't stay there again”

Hotel lobby and interiors were clean, some "wear and tear" in the room and bathroom - either from age of hotel or most recent hurricane damage as yet to be completely repaired. TV was old and bad picture, remote didn't work - had to go get new batteries from desk clerk. Would recommend that management make repairs and improvements, but overall, clean and attentive staff. Okay for short stay.

“Needs attention.”

Cigarette butts and trash on balcony of room. Some of the facility was rundown. Breakfast was nonexistent, very little choice. Great Location.
