Enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was very helpful. Out of the way and quiet.

“The Place to Stay”

We have stayed at this hotel several times. It is extremely comfortable and has very large rooms with a separate sitting area with loveseats and chairs. The view on the harbor side is wonderful. You can watch the cruise ships dock from your window. The only problem we have ever had is hairdryers not working, the continental breakfast serves cereal, but no milk??, and other minor maintainence problems. This will not keep us from staying here again. Our son is a student at Texas A&M Galveston and the hotel only minutes from the Campus. The hotel is within walking distance to all the great restaurants in town and across the street from Starbucks and the Strand historical district. This is a definite MUST if you've never visited Galveston!

“Excellent location”

The Harbor House was a wonderful find, right on the water, adjacent to some great hotels and a block from the Strand and cruise ship port. Will definitely return to the Harbor House on my trips to Galveston.

“Great Location When going on a Cruise”

Great Hotel! Willie G's Restaraunt was right next door. We parked the car at the Hotel and walked to the terminal for our cruise. It was so convenient to everything!

This is the second time that I have stayed at this hotel. Room is a great size and very comfortable. It is also nice to be withing walking distance of the Strand. The harbor view is also a plus. Out of the many hotels that I have stayed in at Galveston, this would be one of the best.

We have stayed at this hotel quite a few times. It has a wonderful view and great location to the Strand area. The walls are a bit thin, but the view makes up for it.

We had a great experience at this hotel. The price through Expedia was AMAZING. This hotel was a steal, our view was great, very quiet, the beds were comfortable, service was excellent, room was clean and well furnished, bathroom was small but spotlessly clean. We did have a very minor plumbing issue which was promptly fixed by in house maintenance 10 minutes later and followed up on with a call from reception. Although there is no hotel restaurant the two that are a stones throw away are excellent and well priced. Icky motels by the seawall are more expesive than this hotel - go here instead!!! If we come to Galveston in the future, I would definitely stay here. I even saw a dolphin from our window!

“Beautiful location”

The hotel is lovely, the location is wonderful. The breakfast was good, too bad it uses plastic plates and cups. The bar meals were just adequate. Because of construction nearby, the wireless was not working in all rooms. The staff were very helpful in getting my computer working. Definitely a place to go to again.
