“Great for family fun.”
Great location, very helpful staff. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Atmosphere was great even during spring break. Family friendly.

“Honeymooners Enjoyed they're stay”
We were finally able to take our Honeymoon after two years of marraige. It was long over due, and so deserved. You're staff from the beginning to the end were amazing. The hostess was nice and helpful, the housekeepers were extremely nice and accomodating, the bar staff were nice and remembered you every time you were there. Kudo's to Anistasia, she was the nicest person and always smiled and took good care of us. Even if we weren't at the bar, she smiled and said hello. With the exception of the weather, which you couldn't control, we had an amazing unforgettable stay. Thank you~~The Happy Honeymooners
“Would go back”
For the price, you can't beat it. Swim-up bar is awesome and the adjacent Captain Jack's bar has great service and a wonderful atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again in the future. Only crappy thing is you can't bring your own ice chest full of cold ones, and there seem to be a lot of small children running around the pool depsite the pool bar - that's fine - I just thought it was odd that parents would choose this hotel over others that might be a little less "party party." Service was a bit lacking - we did want our room serviced one of the 4 days we were there & took off the DND sign; however, no one came by. On checkout day, I waited at least 5 minutes as no one was at the front desk and the phone rang incessantly. They could probably use more help up there. Great location - within walking distance of Murdochs (souvenirs) & Fish Tales (restaurant.)
“An amazing escape”
My stay at the Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort Galveston Beach was simply amazing. I didn't know what to expect when i arrived. But staff quickly greeted me and my check in was at the most 45 seconds long. I couldn't believe it. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, the hotel restaurant is divine. The atmosphere is so inviting. Our rooms were so comfortable, clean and stocked with everything we needed. The pool was great, it was beautifully lit at night and we were able to swim right up to the bar entrance. My friends and I had a great time that weekend. We are definitely coming back to Galveston and staying at the Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort. I’m still so taken aback at how amazing the hotel was.
“Guaranteed Ocean View”
I wanted to check out Galveston for only one night after a business trip in Houston. The Holiday Inn Sun Spree guarantees you a Gulf of Mexico view as all the rooms face the water. It was not high tourist time, so at check-in I was offered any floor. I chose t he highest floor at #5 and had a terric view of the water, beach, and ocean blvd. Tons of places to eat within walking distance. Room was clean with updated bathroom and no mold anywhere. For the price I paid it was great place to stay in Galveston.

This was a great trip for me and my husband! Our 2nd anniversery. They beach was great, people really nice every where you go. Love this hotel! The pool was great, room was great, clean and beds nice and comfortable. Great location too! we would like come back and stay here any chance we get, And stay longer!

I enjoyed my stay there because it was very nice and i enjoyed the tiki bar. Also they have a very nice restaurant with very good food.
