Located just a few miles from the beach. It was easy to find and had easy access to the main freeway. Would recommend if you just need a place to stay and aren't worried about great luxury.

This motel was a pleasant surprise. I was not expecting it to be this clean and this comfortable for the low price I paid. The main reasons I booked this place was because of the price and the free parking that they offer for the duration of your sea cruise. The room, lobby area, and grounds were all clean and well-cared for. The mattress was excellent--actually better than the one I have at home. The continental breakfast was OK (nothing extraordinary). The motel is located close to a railroad track and an oil refinery, but the rooms are nearly sound-proof, and we didn't hear any racket from them. There was a bayou behind the motel that was frequented by a number of beautiful waterfowl. The only downside was that it is some distance from the beach/seawall area. Main roads are easily accessible, though.

The hotel seems to be recently renovated. Clean. Courteous service. Good value for the money.

“Very Pleased with”

We were very happy with our stay. We were attending a state Square Dance Festival at the Galveston Convention Center. Access was easy, the beds were great (I actually got a good nights sleep without a backache). The breakfast provided was great and saved us money. Rooms were clean and staff friendly and helpful. The first night we had some rather noisy neighbors but it was taken care of immediately when we called in about it.

Room was clean and comfortable. Only disadvantage is that it is not on the seawall. It is also next to the train tracks, but we never heard a train during our 3 night stay. Management and staff was very friendly and accomodating. It was very convenient to the harbor area and great for our fishing trip.

I was going on a cruise with my family and needed a clean, inexpensive place to stay for one night. The hotel was clean, price was right and located a short distance from the cruise terminal. I had a very nice time and would stay again. It served all my needs. The staff was friendly and helpful with any questions I had. I am planning another cruise and will stay at this hotel again.
